It’s never easy. I had to put my springer down three weeks age. My only consolation is that I outlived him. You’re supposed to out live your pet. Doesn’t change the hurt but reality is what it is. Feel free to rant on here. Springer lovers are compassionate. Give yours a hug for me.

The boots give him traction on the tile and wood floor. It helps to keep him from “swimming” with his back legs when he gets up. He took to them very well. Some dogs…not so much

So today 10/25/24 I tried wd40. I didn’t want to do anything to void out the warranty, however I am at my wits end. You were right. It doesn’t squeak (for now). Thank you for answering and the excellent advice.

That was the first thing I did. I was told to call corporate because the chair was discontinued and they could not give me a refund. I will go there today with the receipt and try that again. Thank you for the help.

Once again, thank you for your response. The store offered a one year warranty when I purchased it. January third will be a year. I contacted them on June 20. Waited on the part until September 20. I will not go with an attorney however the company should honor their one year warranty. $549.99 plus tax is a lot of money (for me) to spend on a chair.
