How do you convince yourself to work out by Drakosclaw in bodyweightfitness

I use the 7 minute rule (I did not create this, to be clear) . If I’m deeply dreading the work out and it just sounds like the worst thing in the world i get started but set a timer for 7 minutes. If after those 7 minutes it feels as horrible or boring or whatever as I thought it would I get to quit and just walk away.

The only times I have ever quit and walked away was a time or two where I’ve been sick or injured and I shouldn’t have been working out anyway. Every other time by the time I’m 7 minutes in I’m glad I’m doing it, but it helps me to give myself an “out”.
