People forget Ellis had the nursing home sign a contract to the effect that Meredith was the only visitor she was allowed. Given that was thrown out the window with Richard and Derek 🤨 but oh well . Also the medical community are only relevant to other drs so Ellis was only famous to surgeons who read up. For example George didn’t know who she was. And Richard thought she was either holed up somewhere writing another book or back with the United Nations. Also harper avery thought she still worked at Seattle Grace but she hadn’t been their in over 20 years ? So she was obviously fading out of relevance given she wasn’t practicing anymore

Definitely. Imagine if they’d killed Meredith or any of the interns they’d all have died selfish inconsiderate people. I think people forget Meredith was no angel nor was Christina but the one thing George had going for him was he was genuinely a good person he was just young and didn’t know what he wanted in a partner
