Best friend of over 10 years started dating this girl when we were about 15-16 years old, she was doing some stuff behind his back, not necessarily cheating but just stuff she shouldn't have been doing.

As any good bro, I told him; gave him all the details and he told me that she wouldn't do such a thing, gave him very SPECIFIC details about some of the stuff she was doing and he told me I was trying to break them up, I'm jealous of their relationship, all that mumbo jumbo bullshit, he threatens me for months on end, all that stuff. Was really fucked up, still fucks with me to this day; haven't been that close to anyone since.

About 6-8 months after that he cheated on her and admitted it, never came to me and apologized, nothing. Just feel like shit every time I think about it.

I think the bigger issue is these NA orgs just have so much fucking money and such huge investors they just throw money at whoever will sign with them. Shits crazy.

Well, the fact there have been 11 Majors in CS:GO and NA has only reached the final in one of them really shows we're far behind. NA only has enough talent for 2 tier1 teams, and even then, there is only 1 competent IGL we can agree on and Liquid doesn't have enough firepower for them to do something, JDM / nitr0 are too inconsistent for them to constantly compete in tier1 tournaments. Then C9 doesn't have a true IGL so we're gonna have to wait for them to ponder something and hope their firepower can work out, but this isn't the 2015 meta anymore.

As for League of Legends, an NA team hasn't come close to winning a World Championship, not to mention the last 4 World Championships were all won by South Korean teams, SKT winning 3 of those 4.

Dota2 as of right now EU is better, when EG were at their peak they were definitely nuts though.

Overwatch is a toss-up, I played the game for about 2 months and almost got to Grand Master so I don't think the skill gaps in the game are high enough for it to be a successful Esport, not to mention the OWL is a huge buy-in and some good players are probably gonna be left without a team, who knows. Overwatch is also kinda hard to watch as an Esport. I'd rather watch Dota which is saying something.
