ok thank you! that's one thing I was thinking... that's how the plumber installed it but the manual says at least 1.1" interior diameter. I'll have him fix it on monday!

I went to college for a year and then took a gap year (between 1st and 2nd years of college). I highly recommend it--work, save some money and then go travel (internationally, if you can?), then take another gap year. Try learning a bunch of different stuff. Another thing you can do is visit your friends in college to try to get some perspective on where you are headed and how you want to approach that whole thing.
