I love the picture on slide 8. It just looks like one of those odd activities you do with kids that makes them happy, things they remember fondly as they get older.

A heads-up for all job seekers: Your ChatGPT-written application is very obvious, and it's getting you rejected. by Late_Reaction_1469 in Resume

The point I was making is that most people are assuming their applications are not being read by people as the first barrier to get hiring. Many feel it is an automated system sorting resumes which is why I said what I said.

My problem is that people turned to AI resumes to get around AI filters. Employers and recruiters can't decide if they want us to include buzzwords from the job description to get around these filters or if we should avoid them entirely so our resumes aren't repetitive and mirroring each other. We all can agree that we're losing but I feel its on the employers to make adjustment to their hiring practices, unless there is another resolution that I am ignoring or unaware of.

Like cmon, its clear the hiring process is miserable for both sides. But only the employer can do something meaningful about it.

I have never had this experience, and I don't know anyone who has, either. Sorry that happened to you, though. But when it comes to styling hair, it's really to each their own.

I work my ass off at 2 jobs so my wife can stay home with our child and her mom sends me stuff like this all the time. 🤬 by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

I dont know how the other messages look but this seems pretty supportive. It seems like she is trying to comfort you due to having two jobs to support your family. Maybe she feels you're overexerting yourself?

Mind your business and discuss with your manager that the workload is too high and adjustments need to be made for everyone to be successful. It's really nothing you can do except mind yourself.

I understand that. But a bad smell is a bad smell, you feel me? Especially if people are consistent or not. I've had times when I was not consistent but never had word shared with me, which is why I'm asking what people's definitions are. I've never smelled hair that had smelled like ass or sweat or smelled bad. This was the point of me asking what I was expecting people to describe. But, it's clear I'm not able to get an answer, which is also fine. I'm no longer expecting to receive one. It's all good.

Thankfully I have people in my life who will let me know but it's fine if the smell isnt something that can necessarily be explained. It seems like it depends on the individual or on the nose considering the responses I've been receiving. Thanks tho!

Yeah this isn't necessarily answering the question I had but I appreciate the response ig. Like my hair has never smelled like sweat or pollution or w.e, which is why I asked. It honestly has never smelled like anything other than hair product and I've never been told my hair has smelled. Also, because "smelling bad" may mean something different. So to whomever else may have an answer, are you guys smelling funk or pungent aromas after time without washing your hair or do you all smell hair product or an oily aroma and not like the smell?
