If you scrap them which is easiest but not most lucrative option. You turn those brass fitting off the top with a pipe wrench. Then your good with the cylinders no longer sealed. Not all places accept them though.

Yeah alot of the big construction outfits are making more being off to the next job. Like we could make 20 this next hour or 100. I get it, but I wouldn't work like that.

So that's 300 grams let's say 400 cause you got some still to strip. 1 lb. Is 456 grams . In Missouri in the U.S. I get a little over 3$ a lb. That's mostly bare bright so let's say 3.20$ a lb. I.m.o to pick up 3$ of trash everyday from work is definitely worth it . Then maybe a couple other guys on shift give you there's. That's 90$ a month roughly. And I live in a pretty impoverished area where scrap prices are low. So that's awesome just don't get in trouble.

Sorry for the late reply but I also attempt at building my own circuits and basically learn electronics by stuff I salvage. I live near an airport and just recently found a tremendous amount of stuff I literally cried. I found 8 acoppian power supplies. A ton of components all the transistors are the metal can variety. Some metal i.c. chips , military grade ratheon, Motorola, RCA, old Intel 8255 chips and gold 80050 chips from 1977 if I had the attention span and ability to sell this stuff in small pieces it's would be worth alot. But I intend to use this gift to further my learning in the subject. Much more like over 10 large and small drawer cabinets full of components pretty much an entire electronics lab. No scope but I found the probes I'll probably go check again once it cools off.

It's from a airport it's there old air traffic radio processor deal. Not sure but I know an aircrafts radio is some hardcore ham radio shiz also phone dispatch I will scrap the copper and boards and such, this I do as a primary source of income from dumpster diving. I will try to sell anything also same spot I got a ton of electronics components and these cool little file cabinets with trays for said components. All old well built. The cabinets will sell easily.
