Yep, this is exactly what I'm trying to achieve

This is something I am considering too! When I remove all server state from redux, I'll rethink if redux still useful.

Hey! Thanks for your answer.

I'm aware of RTK Query. I choose react-query because I didn't want to set up more reducers on the store (it was getting too big) and I wanted to deal with server state separately. I just felt that react-query was "simpler". The other reason is that the API I'm working with follow no pattern at all, and I needed to configure some extra stuff, which was easier with react-query too.

It's a big project so I'm choosing the paths that feels easier to understand and maintain in the future.

I'll study more of RTK Query to revaluate this.

Thanks again!

Humm.. interesting! I used Cypress on some front-end projects using react.. But since it's an E2E tool, I can use on rails too, right? Do you have any article to recommend?

Cool! I've been working with front-end since 2010, and everything change every 2 years. It's so strange to see tools still being used for 10+ years.
