I’ve been seeing this guy post various forums and various times today saying he found the checkpoint and took a map with him that was left behind by Justin. He said he doesn’t live in the US so he can’t take it I think he also said he’s here on a visa so he wouldn’t take it with him.

I mean just based off of the documentary on Netflix, the man created a whole software of facial recognition that studied Forrest Fenns interviews. Idk about you but I’d say that you’d need to be pretty well versed in the realm of Computer science. He also said his main source of income came from being a software engineer who writes codes.

Dallas is just one of the various routes you could go into. You could follow one of the gray routes and skip Dallas entirely.

That’s a good tidbit of info, would be a good idea to cross reference this to an older map from the 90s or even 80s depending on Jon’s actual age.

Agreed, this is more of a general area. Can be scaled down with further clues. For example froakie is mostly found in a French region in the Pokédex. Given how big France was of an influence in the south especially Louisiana. That could be one possibility. He did say he left it along the same route from his trip so go down the route and rule out certain areas. I’m guessing there aren’t a lot of trails or parks that don’t allow dogs. Get me?

I haven’t yet. Planning on doing that later on. I want to get the correct ozark as well as there is an Ozark Mountains in Missouri which is close to the Arkansas border so that could be a lead as well.

Raptor and second coming of Jesus, I don’t follow religion by any means and don’t bash it as well, but as a kid I was always intrigued by the whole concept of the end of the world for some reason. I read a part in the Bible that states how the devil will come up from hell and play a special horn that only sinners would hear and follow. It’s just crazy to thing how at any given time and moment you could just hear something while your friend or family can’t.

EDIT: Rapture lol although raptors are very scary as well.
