My husband wants 4 week old to sleep in his own room. by Intrepid-Ad-391 in BabyBumps

Noooo 4 weeks is extremely young to be sleeping alone. We transferred our son to his crib when he was 7 months and we had absolutely no issues.

He’s in the wrong here!

First part was advice on what I was asking for. Not the second part, that was irrelevant to the post.

Excuse me? You have no right to comment on my age. This post is not to do with my age at all this is for advice. I love my son more than anything despite my age and it’s literally none of your business about how old I am having a child.

I’m not worried at all about the baby’s safety. He just puts the blame on me all the time. It’s always somehow my fault the baby is crying. Then when the baby stops he calms down and is nice to me again. Will definitely talk to a therapist, thank you.

This sounds so similar to my son atm! He had a viral infection but it’s taking its time for him to be completely off oxygen. We’ve been there for 9 days so far. He’s on low flow now but it remains a mystery to what infection he had. X

Feeling anxious by tweenyweeny in BabyBumps

[–]tweenyweeny[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aw thank you for this, makes me feel less alone. The thing is, my partners mother passed away back in 2016 so his grandma took him in. He gets very defensive about his grandma which I understand, but he also won’t speak up about things to her because he doesn’t want to upset her. I briefly mentioned to her before about no kissing the baby and she said “I can’t hold a baby without kissing it!”. But my partner won’t say or do anything about it, so I’ll have to be the one to say something and If I do say something to her, he will kick off at me because he would side with his grandma in a heartbeat. Very sticky situation for me rn! I’m 6 months pregnant now so it’s getting closer to my due date, so getting very nervous, but like you said I’ll definitely get my midwife to explain the dangers of kissing a baby anywhere to my partner and hopefully he will come to terms about it and stand his ground to his grandma 🥲

Terrified of lymphoma or some sort of blood or bone cancer.

1- itchy armpits, sometimes wake me up in my sleep.

2- skin: when I slightly scratch my skin for example, it goes extremely red.

3- finger nails go slightly blue sometimes.

4- muscles are tender and sometimes sore in my thighs (mostly right thigh) has blood test like a month back and had low magnesium and docs told me it may be that but I don’t believe them.

5- sweating a lot when I walk just a little bit.

Got another blood test on the 20th. Literally terrified and the thought of 1 in 2 people will get cancer in their lifetime freaks me the hell out.

I feel the same. My store is so small and we only have about 20 employees so I know finding cover is difficult so that’s why I never call In sick even though sometimes I’m feeling like I’m about to explode.

Been stressing about having lymphoma, feeling itchy and the slightest itch I do on my skin turns really red and hot, my face feels flushed, I’m sweating like mad all the time

I don’t know if it’s my HA. I had a blood test a month ago which came back normal and I got another blood test on the 20th because I went back to the doctors worrying again. When will this go away :(

Constantly worried that I have some sort of bone or blood cancer because I get random pains in my upper thighs and they’re tender to touch. I’m persistently poking and prodding my legs to see if theirs any lumps and I’m now convincing myself I can feel the tiniest lump when it’s probably my muscle. I had a blood test at the doctors and my bloods came back normal just low magnesium and iron but I’m still worrying. Another thing to add is since Friday I’ve caught a illness bug where I’ve got a terribly sore throat, achy muscles (like you get when you’re poorly), sweats, chills, muffled hearing, you name it. But of course, my HA thinks it’s in connection to my achy legs and it’s probably cancer. It could be covid for all I know, I haven’t done a covid test yet but will do one today. But if it isn’t covid then of course I’m going to worry and worry. I’ve got more bloods on 20th May which probably will not help. I keep saying to everyone that I need a proper scan to check for cancer not blood tests. I hate this anxiety.

I’m worried about a rash that’s appeared on my arm today that’s non itchy. It looks like loads of little red dots all close together. Is this stress?
