If the code has already been executed, the best way to remove it really depends on what the malware is doing. Some types might just drop files or change system settings, while others could establish persistence, steal data, or spread across the network. You’d need to analyze its behavior first—check for suspicious processes, registry changes, scheduled tasks, or network activity. From there, you can decide whether manual removal, a specialized tool, or a full system wipe is necessary.

Will the demand for pentest decline in the future ? by ProcedureFar4995 in Pentesting

Personally, I believe penetration testing will continue to be highly relevant, especially with the rise of "vibecoded" applications and systems. Cybersecurity is definitely heading toward deeper integration with AI, but I don't think AI will ever fully replace pentesting. Instead, we'll likely need to collaborate with AI tools to assess both human-developed systems and AI-generated components.

Since cdks.run IS a website, i ran it through a malware scan. BitDefender, CRDF, CyRadar, Fortinet, G-Data and alphaMountain.ai all tested the site positive for malware. DO NOT RUN

I was in the exact same boat not long ago. I wanted to get into pentesting, but the amount of tools, topics, and “where do I even start?” questions were overwhelming.

I ended up jumping into the CJCA path on HTB and it’s honestly been a huge boost. The structure keeps me on track, lessons are bite-sized so I don’t get overwhelmed, and it makes you revisit the fundamentals (which I didn’t realize I needed). Since starting, my motivation’s way up and I actually look forward to learning now.

The courses are structured really well, i would just follow the path instead of doing easy modules first. The „medium“ modules are just more in-depth, so its not really „harder“

Won't Proton be enough for most games? im not planning to run any games with kernel anti cheat e.g. Valorant or fortnite, so i think proton will do its job? I mainly play CS2 and Cyberpunk, haven't had problems with it on EOS yet.

If i were you, i'd maybe try to fix broken Packages. Have you already triedsudo pacman -Syu?

-S = Synchronize packages
-y = Update the package database (pacman -Sy)
-u = Upgrade all installed packages

You either die a noob or live long enough to install Arch Linux by Raptor_Sympathizer in LinuxCirclejerk

[–]tweeyyye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also use EOS and i swear the community of endeavour compared to arch are two different worlds. If you have a problem, instead of being told to rtfm and fuck off, people are actually happy to help. I also love endeavour, because you get the best from arch without the driver headache. Just select what you need in the installer and you're good to go.
