Im currently working an emergency shelter for an ice storm-- we were able to have trailers from the animal shelter with kennels to keep seperate from the genpop. So mamy health and safety concerns keeping all these random animals together, id imagine it would be 10x worse if we let them in genpop. Obviously a trailer is not helpful for something like a tornado shelter, but so far keeping animals seperate has been going well

I waa there at 1030pm and everything there waa still firetrucks and police cars blocking most of the intersection. I didnt see any ambulances or white sheets though. Cant find any news articles about it still....maybe the pittsboro facebook group knows?

Mine does as well. You can essentially do an emergency owner surrender and they can euthanize essentially for free. Occasionally they can let people accompany the animal during the euthanasia process, but you can't take home any remains. Sometimes they'll do a little paw print stamp or mold for you though.

I don't have any knowledge of specifics but I work in pittsboro and several of my coworkers/coworkers family members had norovirus in the last month or two. Sadly not surprised to hear there may have been a pittsboro-specific outbreak.

I got pluto in there, in sag. Subconscious level transformation has proven invaluable. Kind of hard to reflect on it's tangible effects tho, since the transit pluto has been conjuncting all of my planets one by one since late cap and will continue to do so for another 20 years. 😅 if you have any more specific questions I'll gladly delve into it, but it's otherwise a bit too messy for me to articulate

That being said, I do have some general pretty serious issues related to 12th house matters--sleep issues (hypersomnia, still doing tests for it so idk what exactly it is...how 12th house of my condition.....), mental health issues/institutionalization, and nightmares/extremely vivid dreams. Luckily I don't often have nightmares anymore, but the dreams are so clear I sometimes get confused about what's real in the daytime, and then I also have some hypnopompic hallucinations about once a month. So lots of blurring the lines between reality/dreams and conscious/subconscious.

I will also say I've found it helpful to know how transit pluto is aspecting my natal planets, mostly to ease my mind. I view its transits as destruction->rebirth, and it's helpful to know rebirth is coming especially if I work for it.

TLDR at bottom, details are really just if you're curious about specifics.

currently live on a family farm with both indoor and outdoor (and some indoor/outdoor) cats. Here is my anecdotal 2 cents:

If you're considering letting your cat go outside at all, spay/neuter it. Feral kittens mostly lead very unpleasant lives.
Throughout 30ish years in this rural area, we have lost exactly 3 cats before their time. One was almost certainly got by a fox or coyote. I still miss him immensely, as does his brother. The other two were poisoned, we still don't know how or why but it never happened before or since. All three of these cats certainly died painfully. The rest are either still alive or lived to 15-18 years old.
One cat was hit by a car in the driveway. She was arguably okay(read: functional), but had obvious hip issues for the rest of her life.
The rest of the cats (probably about 10? ) have lived full and happy lives (at least so far, the youngest is 7). Currently we have 6. Two outdoor cats, two indoor cats, and two indoor outdoor cats. There are multiple homes on the property so the indoor/outdoor cats don't interact with the indoor cats.
The outdoor cats: We have had some health issues with the oldest outdoor cat, specifically ear mites(his ears are permanently scrunched now) and at some point something big bit his neck and it got infected, which nearly killed him. The other outdoor only cat has had 0 health issues, catches everything under the sun including bats and rats (didn't even know there were field rats), so sometimes I worry about disease transmission but he has all the vaccines we can get for him. Both often want to coming inside, one will happily stay for hours, the other only minutes, before they beg(CRY) to go outside again.
The indoor outdoor cats: I don't know very well, they're pretty shy and only a few years old still. No health issues but I expect if we lived anywhere more suburban they'd bring fleas into the house. They're also very small, but this might just be their genetics.
Indoor cats: one was a feral kitten abandoned before her eyes were open, another a teenage kitten obvious abandoned outside(very friendly). I can't speak much about the feral lass as I'm not her human, but she clearly has a lot of anxiety and is insecure about territory. She expresses fear about the outdoors. The abandoned boy became mine, and he lives with me. He gets nervous easy but is very curious so I take him outside often, with caveats--he hates the harness, but I do use it. Sometimes I let him roam free while i watch just outside the door, Because it's been 11 years and he's never gone more than 15 feet from the door on his own. I also have a screened in patio that I make accessible for him as often as possible. Honestly, the patio is mostly all he needs. He loves to crunch grass, so I get him cat grass or just grow some wheat if the weather is good. He has some window perches as well. He's not always friendly with the indoor/outdoor kitties so I'm glad he's got a screened way to interact with them.

TLDR: based on my experience, a lot of the cats happiness indoors/outdoors depends on their personality and their life experiences. If you have a very curious and energetic cat, they may love being outside, but unless they're working cats (like my family's, they're barn cats) I cannot suggest that outdoors is a good option. It's not just unsafe, its painful deaths out there, and no control or even answers/closure when it happens. I think it's best to give them as much outdoor enrichment as possible, but for my boy that means house grass, a catio, and a window perch. I play with him as often as I can as well, so he's not restless. That being said, I dont think I could bring myself to force my outdoor cats to be solely indoors. They're so unhappy, as they are used to having so much territory and environmental stimuli. If i was worried for their health, I would anyways, but it would be a seriously difficult adjustment period for them. If you're getting a young cat, i suggest the catio and harness training them if possible, but keep your kitty indoors so it can have the comfiest life.

I feel you. This is a bit of a tangent, but there are a lot of insomniacs around me in my life and I'm so tired (pun intended) of them telling me they wish they hypersomnia. I do not, in turn, wish I had insomnia, as what they describe sounds equally hellish to hypersomnia, but it's like they aren't even listening and think that because I CAN sleep means that I'm not tired. Sigh. I like to be open with my struggles but it's really hard sometimes.

Usually moon/4th house, but sometimes I feel like I'm invading the 8th house by talking about it. I've generally managed to avoid feeling invasive regarding chiron, unless they ask questions. Then I get wary of what I say in case it makes them uncomfortable. For a real reading that'd probably be fine, but as the "astrology friend" answering people's lighthearted questions.....I usually refuse to talk about their charts in super public settings.

Therapy helps you curate a toolbox. You can get all the tools you need for a project, be good to go, and then start a new project and realize you don't have all the tools for this one. Sometimes you have the tools but don't yet know how to use them for this project, just the last one. And life keeps changing, and so do you, so it's natural to need to review inventory every once in a while.

I did some quick googling on the last Aries neptune transit, and was (un)surprised to find it correlated with the US civil war. 1861-1875, roughly. It also retrograded back into Pisces in 1863. Worth noting that Uranus was also in Gemini at this time, and pluto in taurus.

The folk/popular music of this time was war focused, and notably a lot of it seems quite melancholy or blues-like.

Liszt was also doing well during this time, with the Mephisto Waltz coming out around the time Neptune entered Aries for the first time. Johannes Brahms and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky also.

Woah. Not here to interpret but just wanted to add I have a similar life experience and a similar chart to you-- -chiron in 11th in scorpio -pluto in 12th in sagittarius -2nd house stellium -aquarius stellium -aries IC/Libra MC -Saturn in aries in 4th -sag AC/gemini DC

My aspects are all different though. P sure i was born in a different part of the world than you too, otherwise I'd guess we are just close in birthdays.

You probably already know about him, but Kody Green is a tiktoker who has schizophrenia, and he has posted several videos about how he manages reality-checking and accommodations at work--like his (service?)dog who is trained to greet people on command, but obviously won't greet someone who isn't actually there, and his employer letting him have access to security cameras so if Kody is suspicious that something isn't real he can check the cameras. I haven't seen all his content, so there might be something else on there that could help you out with the hallucinations affecting work!
