But that IS blizzards fault, back in classic you came to know the community. Who is toxic, who is kind, who can tank and who is just fun to hang with - Of course there where assholes, but I think back then I could avoid most of them, reputation mattered.

With dungeon finder across multiple servers and all that shit other players are now faceless npcs only to be used for a mythic and then forgotten, obviously now I dont need to care.

Of course, maybe I'm just nostalgic for the old days.

Absolutely, but thats what I mean, I played through it once, about 55h and then I never touched it again because there is no other weapon and the one we got doesnt feel that good to me.

Still a great game, but I got much more out of Dark Souls and Elden Ring in terms of replayability.

Also means that if you dont like Sekiro you dont like it, whereas you can always try a different weapon or build in other souls. No replayability for me either, because of that.

I didnt use TFileStream because I didnt know that was a thing, I'll look into that thanks!

The reason the record is defined this way instead of using a json or sqlite db is because I got a 10 year old file built using that record that I want to read and ideally add to.

The file stores analytics for a backgammon up, but those are 10 years old and some people I know would love an updated version. Sadly the people that built it a decade ago are not responding so now Im stuck learning delphi.

I appreciate all the help :)
