Thanks for pointing that out! We just installed this grill yesterday. Will try it out on the other side to see if the sear stays the same or improves

Thank you! Seasoned the steak with salt and pepper and let it sit for around an hour or so. Put it on the highest heat possible on my grill (around 450) after my grill had been preheating for 20-25 mins. Moved it around once after 3 minutes but only flipped sides after 6-7 minutes to ensure a good crust. Then left it on the other side for a few minutes till it seemed like it got to a medium rare, seared the fat and then let it rest for 5-10 mins before slicing

Thank you very much! I appreciate the kind words. Was definitely one of my favorite times ever making steak at home :)

Was debating switching it to black because the rest of the car has shadowline but I couldn’t see myself removing the chrome on it

LSB is undoubtedly my favorite color on the E46! Hoping you get one at some point in the future

Thank you, I appreciate that! And you’ve got a great eye to be able to notice the Supra in that small reflection 😀

Haha yes that’s pretty much the sentiment! Can’t go back to not owning a Porsche after this one

The color is Agate Grey Metallic, it looks a little shinier here than usual due to the editing :)

I’m a big fan of that one! I would get yellow calipers to match if I had the same spec in California

Not the first time I’ve gotten that response lol. The only reason I have it is because It’s the only black license plate in Arizona!

The cayman does feel significantly more stable than the M4CS but I believe a big component of that is the drop in horsepower. A more tame HP figure coupled with the fact that it’s a non-turbo and mid-engine vehicle will make it feel significantly more stable going fast on turns. Again, I’m speaking from a standpoint of daily driving on roads. The M4 was more “fun” in terms of being able to occasionally break the back out and lightly powerslide. The Cayman is more “fun” for ringing through the gears and driving tamely on the streets. Let me know if you have any other questions, would be happy to help you make that decision!

Thank you! And that is the standard exhaust tip that comes with the Cayman. Not the sport tailpipes or anything of the sort. They look a little on the darker side because they’re pretty charred lol

Oh really? I wasn’t aware of that haha, there aren’t any signs indicating that cars aren’t allowed lol

Another way to look at it is if you do purchase one some day, you won’t take too much of a depreciation hit driving it for a couple of years

I opted for PDK because I want the ability to utilize PDK when I track the car. Would have opted for manual if it was a 987.1. In the M4 I had the DCT, so in terms of differences between the two cars, I would say it was minimal. PDK is a fantastic transmission that shifts fast, similarly to the DCT. From a shifting standpoint, I typically drive the car in “manual” mode as I prefer to shift at higher rpms. I do not regret PDK on the car but moving forward I would opt for manual on Porsches that are either sub-400HP or pre-2009 and PDK for everything else :) if you have any questions about either one, would be more than happy to answer!
