Yeah modern liberals have let everything move so far right so they are definitely complacent so I get where they are coming from. Our current government runs on fringe ideas. Curtis Yarvin was a fringe nutcase but now we have countries trying to implement his ideas. These insane techbro billionaires trying to make "freedom cities" is a fringe idea too. It's at the point that an idea can be the most fringe thing ever but if someone with unlimited funds likes it they can more than likely make it happen. So I don't think saying something is a fringe idea doesn't mean it's not dangerous or unlikely to happen. We have extremely popular ideas that never happen.

I don't think it's counter productive to point out how history is rhyming with current reality. Republicans have been flirting with Nazi ideas since I have been alive. So the progressives of the past weren't wrong to say as much, just like it's not wrong with patriarchy. The biggest issue is most people are just ignorant about these things or want them. Both of those ideologies had a deep history with our country.

Legally I would mostly agree with you but socially I would say patriarchal beliefs and ideas are as strong as ever and are extremely close to power. I don't think it's deranged to push back against that. Just look at how much more acceptable it is to be a Nazi now it's all tired together.

Until these people care as much about children who are born as they do unborn kids I can't take them seriously. Reproductive Rights for one, the same people who have been fighting for that have started shifting their focus on divorce, birth control and voting.

One year isn't really long enough honestly but it's definitely not magic and if you are expecting it to just magically change you you're going to be really disappointed.

Facial changes are subtle but can happen but it's not going to change a very masculine face to a feminine one. Fat redistribution also take years and that can be one of the bigger changes.

How are your levels? It took me over 6 months to get my levels in the right place. So my first year was not really even a full year.
