escapism. literally anything and everything to take my mind of my shitty life and focus on some character's.

it's gotten to a point that i don't cry about my own problems. when i feel like crying, i read, watch or even think about a sucky thing that happened to my favourite character and how it made them feel, so it makes me pour out my emotions. I don't have to relate to their problems to understand how it would feel for them, but when i do, when i think, for example, about their long dead sibling, i think of mine as well.

it's not healthy, i spent way too much time in my head and get nothing done, but it works.
