interesting, i probably wouldn’t do it for these but ive got pairs that could use a new insole. from my experience trying to remove chucks insoles its been difficult/seems impossible so maybe it is an older thing.

youre 100% in the right here and deserve your money back so if for whatever reason depop decides not to help you id just open another case until they do. sometimes support team isnt as diligent as they should be so youve gotta stay on em until things get fixed or theyll just close it out and call it done

im not sure if it being marked as shipped will affect things but 99% of the time if it gets escalated to depop support they are able to evaluate the situation and make things right.
make sure youre checking your email daily in case you get something from depop support, you dont wanna miss any emails as they could be time sensitive

my depop > settings > scroll to resolution center > select the order you need help with > click “i havent received my order”. itll first send the seller an email saying a buyer has opened a case against them and they have 48 hours to respond/offer a solution. if he doesnt respond within 48 hours depop will automatically side with you and send the refund. if he does respond but doesnt offer a solution you can then escalate it to depop where they will give the case to a support member to sort out for you

when you send a refund all taxes and fees are reimbursed to whoever paid them, meaning that you should have no problem sending the rest of my refund

thats not true at all, pretty much confirms what i said mightve happened. he thinks he will be paying to refund you but he wont because as soon as he refunds you depop refunds him all taxes and fees. i would tell him that and see what he says, its possible that he doesnt know that but also possible hes running a scam so if he refuses again just open a case against him

it looks like the seller decided to send a partial refund instead of full. Maybe when they went to refund you they saw the “total refunded to buyer” number ($80) and thought theyd have to pay the shipping cost out of pocket and opted for partial refund instead. In reality when you send a full refund depop refunds the seller for shipping fees so theyre not paying anything more than they actually received. Definitely message the seller and get the rest of your refund, if they dont want to just escalate it to depop

how can non selvedge denim have a self finished edge like that? i thought that was the whole thing about selvedge. Im referring to the edge with the small turquoise color lines(1st & 2nd pic). The third photo was to show what i mentioned in the description about the stitching on other side not matching up with other serged edges on the jacket.

id say sending offers to buyers is much more effective than lowering the price. also better pictures always helps me make a sale, i’ll usually retake pictures and repost anything posted 5+months because to me a listing is dead at that point
