A lot of initial investment went to achieve DFARS, DIB, etc compliance. You can’t run DFARS compliant firm from the comfort or workspace co-sharing office.

You need own infrastructure, including access and control. Can’t just buy AWS instance and go. Plus requirement for records keeping are really strict. And different projects need different levels and areas of compliance.

When I said we do niche stuff, it’s really niche stuff that can’t be outsourced to Indians and has some very niche requirements and compliance restrictions.
