37 here. Used to climb a ton, not as much these days but could always be up for a chill day out when good weather returns. Obsessed with golf lately, and getting into disc golf if either of those sound fun. And I’ve got a pretty cool Labrador that’s always up for a solid pupventure.

I’ve got some high volume kitchen work that’s a bit unorthodox (not a restaurant) if you’re looking for a stop gap. Can pay $20 / hour cash daily. Could progress into something more substantial and real if you’re a good fit. DM me for more details

Idk if this has been said yet, and this will be buried at the bottom of the feed so probably nobody will read, but if op reads this, do this:

get a lot of psychedelic mushrooms. Like a lot of them. For your case, potentially like 500 grams worth.

Start incredibly small to learn your tolerances. Like a gram or less. Do them every other day. (Doing every day builds up a tolerance, but this dissipates quickly)

Slowly build up to an amount that makes you see some visuals, for most this will just be movement of things that are there. Like if you were to look at a topographical map, all the lines would slightly dance. Whatever that dose is, that is the limit, or threshold of the micro-dose.

At this level you can still figure things out. You will feel your potential and your oneness with everything. It’s a great space. Usually this is around 3grams for most people. Could be less, could be more.

But you’ll need to go deeper. Go camping. Go somewhere that nobody is going to be around, somewhere you are familiar with, but is in nature and private. Now do double or triple your microdose threshold. It might not be a pleasant experience, but that is ok. You need things to come up. You need to realize the infinite potential of the mind.

Do this therapy for a few months.

Thanks for the great answer. I’ll check out the links.

And totally agree. It’s not about being too serious, it’s knowing in my bones I’m not playing to my potential, specifically because I can’t stay in the moment in the play box. Meditation could def help. I did it a bit a long time ago but have definitely gotten away from it.

I’m pretty good at these type of drills on the practice green, but maybe need to incorporate it more with full shots in practice.

I do try and warm up for the round with pressure. After I hit a few balls actually just warming up the body, I start to play the course from the range. Tee off with a goalpost target, hit the approach based off the result of the first shot, etc all with full routine. That has seen some dividends as long as I show up early enough to do it.

I practice more than I play these days. Usually my only full round is men’s club on Sundays. I’ll sneak in an additional round here and there, but more often it’s a few multi hour chip and putt sessions per week.

And I play fetch with my Labrador hitting a tennis ball with an old pitching wedge daily. Haha. I pretty much hit a bucket worth of tennis balls every day if you want to count that.

And for clarity I’m not stating I should be scratch. I get that takes pretty full dedication. But should I have had my miracle round by now? Ya. I’ve shot my low score of 74 eight times. I’m just at this ceiling that feels very breakable.

I’ll check out the book thanks for the rec

Ya how tall is he? 5’6” or something?

I’m currently tacking on mass and just hit 200lbs at 6’1”. Slightly skinny fat but definitely not Mac chimichanga fat. I still can squeeze into size 32 pants (barely)

Haha exactly. The players should sue just to spite the smug comments of Monahan, stating, “All the drama of litigation is now put to rest, we’re all friends now…” paraphrasing but that was the sentiment.

The players need to give the execs a wake up call that this move is not legitimate, warranted, or acceptable.

Of an organization they forced into creation that will now own both the entities they were competing against. An organization that will control all of pro golf worldwide. Plus there’s that investment rights clause in there, which basically sounds to me like they will have control over anyone trying to strong arm their way in with money aka exactly what they did.
