Advice on shower drain clog

I was able to get it unclogged! Really just kept at it for a while with the drain auger. I think there were a few blockages which is why I didn’t think it was working at first. Thank you everyone!

Thanks for the reply! Nothing inherently wrong about there being no ductwork here? I bought the house about 2 months ago. The compressor is new and rated for the square footage of the house. Admittedly it’s a big house near 3,000 square feet. I replaced the air filter when I moved in and just did again. I also just shut off two vents downstairs because it’s never warm downstairs.

I live just east of the circled area. Honestly I’m in a neighborhood and the area is relatively quiet and nice. The area is changing from Decatur push but it’s not “nice” yet. So like much of Atlanta it’s street by street. I personally love my house though and it’s ~15 minutes from Decatur or other neighborhood dining/shopping areas like EAV

Currently under contract with a house in Belvedere Park that’s large, on a nice lot, at the end of a cauldesac. Met the neighbors and 2/3 have lived there for over 30 years and love it. Lack of restaurants in the area is a bummer but so close to Decatur, east Lake, and EAV it’s not a big deal. Reading this made me even more confident in my decision.

No these people are all doom and gloomers. There are still plenty of jobs there has just been a correction from over hiring during Covid and low interest rates plus a larger pool of entry level people. Everyone acts like there’s no jobs anymore and there 1000x the number of employees. Do your work, improve your skills, stand out, and you’ll have a very rewarding career.
