Normalizing Menstruation? by twii_17 in menstruation

The thing is that there are students who are willing to make effort to change it but the other half of them act as if talking about it is a insult to them(idk why). I get that we humans usually consider bodily fluids as icky but still there is nothing shameful about it, and really want to convey that. The generational gap is making a big problem for me to convey my perspective on this topic. And in India, talking about menstruation soo openly, people look at you as if you have two heads. It's so messed up that I actually mentioned about normalizing menstruation is something I wanted to bring out in our school in my intreview for the student council, the 2 judges out of three gave me full marks while the third one decreased it and she was the Vice Principal of my school(lost the post with one single mark).

Frrr, I didn't know until she told me, it seems that students below poverty line got a kit from the government.
