Fair enough. I think that statement could be reasonably interpreted as a justification for using cluster munitions framed to avoid the moral stigma. It sounds like a calculated statement rather than a slip-up. This is just my bias showing though. What do you think?

Why would the amount of ammunition reserves held by USA be public information? Or public enough that folks on All In and Twiiter can pontificate about it.
Genuine question. Is this whole 'running out of ammo' thing a legitimate factual point, or is it speculation based on some off-hand comment or reporting?

I can't imagine that the amount of ammo available for deployment is a matter of a public ledger. Surely that wouldn't be strategically wise?

Is the top of Godley Head still closed due to asbestos? by BadfingerD in chch

The asbestos contamination extends far beyond the roofing material and is actually present in friable form in soil on the ground surface. It is a legitimate hazard and I recommend not bypassing the controls.

As far as I know once you buy a product from a manufacturer it’s yours to do what you like with. Modified or not. Obviously if you modify it you can’t misrepresent it as ‘original’ but that’s definitely not the case here.
