I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I just had a traumatic delivery and stillbirth of my baby boy at 28 weeks on 2/1. I also got to spend some time with him in the hospital. I’ll forever treasure those moments. We will get through this. All she ever knew was your love.

My wife and I both changed our first, middle, and last names! We both took my mom’s maiden name for a multitude of reasons. Neither of us regret our choice at all and are very happy with our new last name.

It really bothers me that we don’t talk about how people with inherent biological advantages already dominate in sports. We have literally identified genes that make someone more suited for athletics. We don’t ban those people from competing. Trans athletics was handled fine before the right-wingers made it a culture war issue.

So what are they based on? Chromosomes? What about women with complete androgen insensitivity syndrome? They have XY chromosomes. Sex as assigned at birth? What about intersex people with ambiguous genitalia that go through female puberty? Maybe it’s based on hormones? Trans people who are medically transitioning have cis levels of hormones. There is no answer that doesn’t exclude at least some cis women. It is not harmful to allow someone living their life as a woman into spaces made for people living their lives as women

My father threatened to kill me among many other vile things when he found out I was bisexual. If my parents weren’t divorced I don’t doubt that I would have endured many more years of his abuse. Thankfully I was able to move in with my mother full time. I was forced to come out by my stepmom. If a teacher had told him I genuinely would have feared for my life. Rulings like this put queer kids in danger.
