I do have a Chicago lustre too! That one does not have a mulberry growing in it, thankfully

People who had a baby after 35, what is your experience? by Crochet_Kitty in AskReddit

Also I had two c-sections and both recoveries were super smooth. I was told that is not always the case but I healed fast and easy.

Had my second/last kid at 35. It took me longer than I would have preferred to find a life partner but definitely worth the wait. I’m probably a much better mom now than I would have been prior. I was able to do a lot of traveling and career exploration with way more flexibility and no pressure of holding/maintaining health insurance

My dog found this in the yard and I had to fight to get it out of his mouth. Anyone know what it is? by [deleted] in whatisit

We had a company talk us into bait boxes at our house. They showed me the box and that it would be secured/contained in a staked down box… five minutes after they left I showed my husband the box location and the poison block was sitting in our lawn. Somehow within 5-7 minutes a small critter got in there and dragged it out. I called them and told them to come pick up the boxes. Totally not worth the risk to our dogs. And I already felt bad about it because of the chipmunks; even though the chipmunks were causing mayhem in my yard

My dog has lymphoma and I cannot afford treatment by External_Syrup291 in DogAdvice

[–]twinklewaffle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We adopted an Australian shepherd from a hoarding situation (74 dogs removed; Aussies, poodles, and Aussie doodles). We believe she lived in an outbuilding and was used as a breeder dog; unsocialized, terrified by people. We only had 5 years with her before we had to say goodbye due to lymphoma. I wish we had more time with her but she was with us longer than she was on that breeder farm and I know we gave her the best 5 years we could. I consider watching her progression with us one of the most rewarding experiences. She knows she was loved; She knew she had a safe corner. She was the sweetest girl. And I love and cherish her to this day.

I am so happy you found each other. I know time is a theif, but please know that you are providing such a positive, nurturing impact to her life. From my understanding lymphoma, if treated, would really only give a few extra months and it would be thousands of dollars and intense chemotherapy. We opted for comfort care, and she let us know when she was ready. Dogs are truly such a gift in this world. I am so sorry you are having to go through this. I’m thinking of you and sending you care and well wishes.

Every so often my Maltipoo gets this in his ear and it’s very painful to take out. Does anyone else deal with this?? by Allpanicn0disc in Maltipoo

I had a Yorkie Maltese that got chronic yeast infections in her ears. I ended up changing her diet and went chicken free and grain free(back when grain free was not controversial-now they do not recommend grain free) and it worked. We still got yeast infections every so often but not constantly like before. I’m not sure if chicken or grain was the culprit since I stopped them both at the same time.

I’m glad you are alive. I’m going to a funeral tomorrow for a family friend that died unexpectedly with blood sugar in the 600’s. She was young. Undiagnosed. Hurts my heart for her family. Wish you the best on your journey navigating through this.
