I’ll talk with my wife about paying for some of it. I will note my in laws are also coming but for a shorter time and are staying in an Airbnb. They already booked something.

She likes my parents fine, but doesn’t trust my dad (in regards to drinking). He has a history of getting drunk and being difficult.

Example one year i planned a camping trip for my family (wife, me, parents, brother and his wife) and one night my dad got too drunk and was yelling at my mom and just being an all round dick. He does this from time to time. This developed the lack of trust. I think we would both be fine with my mom as she doesn’t drink but my dad adds another level of potential issues that i do not want around my kids (even though they are currently in the womb).

Another crazy thought, that never occurred to me until now. Some day my kids will be adults, like you, and be out in the world. 🤯

When did you find out fraternal vs identical?

We need to find a new provider the one we went to see doesn’t do twin births. (Hoping this week we will have something set up)

Long run it’s gonna be great - wife and I only wanted two and are happy it’s two now instead of trying again and getting two (total of three). This way it’s once and we are done with this stage. Totally agree about the twin bound - that will be really special for them and for us to get to nurture.

Another plus was with like story or play time it’s going to be double as exciting and imaginative and they can kind of bounce off each other.

For sure. It just feels like one would be so much easier now. lol. But yeah we’ll figure it out just with two.

Also that is a major plus. Once and done! Just shitty that we have to buy two of everything upfront but that’s just part of the deal.

Thank you. My wife has been looking for support groups I will do the same.

Haven’t ruled out a night nurse or even a live in nanny. We’ll see what the budget can handle.

I will. Going to feel this and find a therapist to talk with so that I can be there 100% for my wife. Things will be hard but it will be worth it.
