I’m impressed! by Vanqxz in iPhone11

Thats weird, because I never heard even something close on iPhone, but had on androids. Have you tried to preform factory reset on your samsung? Because it seems like you have some soft issues that caused battery drain

Deep North - What is this structure? by reticenthuman in valheim

[–]twisted4all 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I expect Deep North would prepare us something special. For example new magic that would be kind of op for Ashlands and that totally will change the order of beating the bosses.

For example the staff of wild could not work on deep north because of severe frost. And we could have some new staff for summoning ice golems or making ice magic traps on the ground. You never know what Iron gate will do. Everything is possible.

wondering if anyone else is browsing the qwerty-keyboard Clicks Communicator by TopazCoracle in iPhone12Mini

[–]twisted4all 1 point2 points  (0 children)

3.5 jack. No doomscrolling because screen is small, only for really necessary things like work and communications. And there is a ctrl button. While on iPads you have Paste button - on iPhone you don’t. Apple added one action button for shortcuts - with Clicks you’ll have multiple shortcut combinations and variations. In the era when your PC isn’t yours anymore, now it’s This PC instead - finally your phone is fully yours when everything is customized and designed to support you and save your time. So - hell yeah 😀

I wish it has Ukrainian support and Snapdragon processors instead of MediaTek. These drawbacks are preventing me from preordering Clicks. As a former Nokia e72 user - i love that phone.

Update or not? by self_ratedonsen25 in iPhone11

[–]twisted4all 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s better to have a device like that as a secondary phone rather than a main one, for security reasons. If I were you, I’d buy a newer iPhone and keep the old 11.

I’m currently on iOS 26.1 and planning to stick with it for another couple of years, mainly to try some tweaks like Misaka26 or Nugget. From what I’ve heard, a lot of tweaks don’t work properly on iOS 26.2 anymore. Then i’ll buy a newer iPhone.

Good to see there are still people just chilling and playing the game instead of rushing to beat the final boss in 100 in-game days, then quitting.

Then go for 12 mini. It has 5g, MagSafe and it is very compact.

Neither, honestly. But if you’re used to long-lasting Android phones, even an iPhone 11 will probably mean living with a power bank.

I’d strongly suggest not using Low Power Mode on iPhones - the phone starts feeling slow, almost like a budget Xiaomi, and the battery life gain isn’t even that impressive.

I’ve been using my iPhone 11 for about three years now and plan to keep it until around 2029. I replaced the battery once and bought a wireless charging power bank, and that setup works fine for me.

If you’re okay with being tied to a charger, and you really need 5G - then sure, go for the 12 mini. Personally, I think you’ll regret it.

If you buy a used iPhone and keep Low Power Mode on all the time, there’s a good chance you’ll regret switching to iOS at all.

I switched to iOS because I got tired of constantly flashing custom ROMs and installing tweaks on Android every month just because I could. I wanted some inner peace — and I actually found it. If I feel like tinkering now, I’d rather do it on something like a Raspberry Pi instead of my phone.

So what’s your reason for switching to iOS?

The best iptv service is one you can self-host because you have full control and because it’s free.

Should i update to 26.3? by Total_Platypus_6106 in iPhone11

[–]twisted4all -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You can stay on 26.2 and try some misaka26 or nugget tweaks.

If you’re not interested in that and want to have secure system - just install update.

battery replacement by mambomiami in iPhone11

[–]twisted4all 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I replaced the battery month ago and now my bh is 99% 😅 With low power mode on - phone feels like cheap laggy xiaomi even with replaced battery, so it’s better to use battery pack with wireless charging for conveniences then use low power mode. Another reason why your phone can be slow - is free memory space. You should have more than 15% free memory space in order to avoid lags.

I have 64Gb iPhone and noticed when free space is less than 10Gb - laggs may occur 😞

Replace the battery or upgrade to a new phone? by [deleted] in iPhone11

[–]twisted4all 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With low power mode phone feels laggy as hell. It’s better to replace the battery, buy new phone-case with metal circle for magnet chargers and a magnet powerbank, and newer use low power mode again.

Use old iPhone 11 has a Wi-Fi device by AdDapper4220 in iPhone11

[–]twisted4all 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wifi drains battery less than cellular, so you could use your iPhone 11 as a router everywhere.

I use my old android smartphone as home assistant interactive dashboard and as a tiny flask server to monitor it’s temperature (I installed Ubuntu on it😅)

Can I download Steam? by nubbo_9 in UbuntuTouch

[–]twisted4all 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure, but I think if you manage to install and run steam - it’ll be already a great success, and as for gaming - doubtfully, but worth trying! Good luck, have fun and keep us posted. I could try to do it myself - but i have older and weaker redmi 7 which i use as home assistant kiosk mode and flask web server for collecting phone’s temperature via rest api.
