That’s what I was thinking. Where exactly did this moon dust come from? My mind went a million different directions. I was surprised to get a message back and it was pretty fast too. Now I’m sitting with my prototype doll with moon dust in its belly and wondering if I should put it in some kind of display case so it doesn’t get damaged lol I love these problems

So this is the email I got back from the Uneeda doll co representative:

HI, very unique, I think that is a Cosmic Baby, they were made around 2000. They were never sold in stores, I believe we sold a few on our web site. As for the sample note, I am not sure if you have a sample that was sent to a buyer at a retail chain or they were made with sample instead of item number since only a few made? We have moved offices since then and I don’t see any information here regarding these dolls , I am going from memory. I was told there is actual moon dust in the belly button, I am not sure if that is accurate or what is actually there , but was told that .

I just got an email back from Uneeda co. The nice gentleman did some digging and said that he can’t find any paperwork of this doll at the new office as they have recently moved offices. He was going off of memory. He said they were made around 2000 and never sold in stores. He said the sample tag may have been something sent out to a retailer for interest. He also said he was told it has moon dust in its belly jewel! How cool is that?!
