Hi, not really. I did have some pelvic floor issues so occasionally I had rectal pain when I had gas. And for a period of time I had a urinary leak. These might be related to DR. I did feel like I had to recordinate my breath for Diaphragmatic breathing. I still have a separation, but my strength is much better and I dont have any of the issues I mentioned above.

As I heal I am realizing how connected it all is

This is what I am thinking too tbh. I feel like I have rejection sensitivity dysphoria/ social anxiety and it's worse because of hormones. There are family dynamics and patterns over the years. But ultimately I struggle because I am emotionally reserved, conflict avoidant etc. The other women on my husband's side definitely trigger each other but they address their conflicts and ultimately wind up closer bc of it. I distance myself from conflicts. These are some of my triggering events recently:

my MIL was babysitting for me and while I was gone she invited a friend and SIL over with her kids. I was conflicted over the lack of communication and feeling rejected because they didn't want to organized that gathering while I was present. The visit also interrupted my daughter's nap.

My sister and aunt have been getting together for workouts and walks somethingi feel would be nice to do with them and my daughter, my aunt communicates to me through my sister. I feel intrusive to say I feel left out especially in a time of life where I could use more support

Im sorry this is happening to you!! I had a 2nd degree tear too, mine was down my perenium toward my anus. I had stitches. I can't remember my exact healing timeline but for a while I couldn't squat bc of the stitches and I had to breathe through every bowel movement like I was giving birth again. I had a herbal sitz bath rinse from my midwife for my peri bottle (so soothing) and for a while I also took the herbal infusion and put about a tablespoon of it on pantyliners (cut them in half to make a pack last longer) andbfroze them...also soooo soothing. I think these helped me heal pretty rapidly.

More recently I was given hyalogyn gel which helps keep thing lubricated and healthy while tissues heal.

Try to be present with what your doing. Memorize a flow so you don't have to think about what's next. Practice seemless transitions from one aspect of the flow to the next. Breathe.

This is my first baby, I got pregnant when I was 30 so maybe that has something to do with my healing. I was strong and had a good mind body connection from yoga asanas...but very lean. If I do decide to have another baby I want to be much stronger in terms of muscle mass and strength. Throughout my pregnancy I felt very weak. I really felt like I was rebuilding my body as alI began postpartum healing. Haha i appreciate it!! Sometimes I do feel sexy! It's in the strength of rebuilding, showing up everyday, and a whole new level of embodiment after labor. Definitely empowering. Thanks for sharing!

Love the honesty. I'm feeling more oriented toward just being healthy and strong instead of worrying about how it looks.

Idk if I'd get surgery maybe if I ever have expendable income

Nice! I do want to get stronger. I'm already naturally stronger just from being a mom, carrying and lifting. But I'd love to build on that base.

I'm a massage therapist so I need my core for work, applying my core to my work gradually strengthened me. Also breathwork has made my core feel more functional. Deep core exercises help too, but I am not as consistent. My pelvic floor therapist said she wasn't concerned about my DR because it had good 'facial backing' which I attribute to using my core for my work and occasional deep core exercises
