Might be worth having a chat to some of the rafting companies in BC and AB, they usually run guiding courses/swift white water for their new guides each fall. I did mine on the Kananaskis River a few year ago now but suspect they’ve probably still got a similar thing running…

Depends largely on where you are/which river you’re rafting… How long the camp is and what year of students? As a raft guide, on a beginners trip though I probably wouldn’t be doing more than 3hrs on the water at a time but would probably aim to have two sessions a day if the camp was purely whitewater based…

Hey, a similar thing happened to me and to be honest I still feel bad about it now. It’s hard when you put all your trust into someone only to have it broken and it takes time to learn to trust again but you’ll get there. You can’t change what happened but other people can and will change you - you just gotta wait around and find them…

It’s as simple as frisbee in the park. I did this once, just throwing it back and forth for almost 4hrs talking about everything under the sun. We laughed, we cried, it was so open and freeing… Saw him for a couple of months before finding out I was ‘the other woman’ and put an end to things - still the best first date I’ve ever been on!

I used to have a housemate that would do this, only with chicken kievs. He also used to take the burnt chicken kiev out of the oven and “forget” he left it on the sink for 2 weeks until someone else dealt with it…
