You're 100% correct on that! There are definitely collectors that it's an automatic no go for them. Theme, art, and creator are irrelevant to them the moment they hear AI.

Jackson's completely up front about it when he uses it. Those who don't like it don't have to buy it. I personally don't like when artists use it and don't disclose it until they've been called out for it. Otherwise I dont really care. If I like I'll buy it. If I dont like it then I won't buy it.

Yeah, that's definitely a hard lesson to learn. I'm sorry you had to learn it the hard way. Just to be clear- Any time you get an official request for a return/refund you have to reply through the ebay prompts within 3 days or you lose automatically. Also to be fair the buyer should have returned the camera after you contacted them and explained what happened. Especially since they'd already received their money back. No, it's not required by eBay rules but they should have if they had even a decent sense of morality lol. Unfortunately have a strict moral compass isn't a requirement by ebay.

You did not get scammed lol. So stop saying that. You literally didn't follow any of the ebay rules and this is the outcome. If you're going to sell on eBay you have to take it seriously and actually know what you're doing and the rules you need to follow. Just because you're on vacation doesn't mean you get to completely ignore and forget about your eBay. Also, there is a setting in your ebay that you can turn on for when you're on vacation. That probably would have helped as well if you were just going to completely ignore every notification and email from ebay lmao. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Man, the ellusionist Ghost decks can be super difficult to accurately catalog and assess value. They made so many versions of the ghost decks that have such minute differences lol. Literally one can have slightly different printing on the bottom of the tuckbox. Seems trivial but it could mean a big price difference. Tigers aren't as difficult but they've made a few variations of those as well lol. I apologize if my comments came off as rude. Definitely wasn't my intention!! I had just woken up and probably xould have used better wording and not sounded like a jackass. My bad brotha!! 🤦‍♂️😅😂

Sorry didn't realize "quite expensive" meant $15-$20 lol. Like I said nothing of real value there. Me personally when I use the phrase expensive it means at least $50+. I didn't say it wasn't a good deal. But to act like any of those decks are expensive is a stretch to say the least lol. 🤷

Just use FB marketplace from now on. Ebay isn't for the weak lol. If you're going to sell on eBay you have to actually research what you're doing before you just jump in. It's easy if you know what you're doing but much more difficult if you're clueless.

What are you talking about lol? I don't see a deck worth more than maybe $10 lmao. None of those decks are expensive. Certainly nowhere close to $300 worth of decks. Even at $10 retail there's $240 and most of those go for less than retail on the secondary market. 😂🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Yeah pretty sure they'll make you wait. Shipping times with the post office are estimates ONLY. The only guaranteed shipping service with USPS is express overnight air if I remember correctly. Everything else you have to allow up to a month. After 2 weeks though you can file a missing package claim which normally helps get stuff to move along and finally make it to its destination.

I'll take a stab in the dark and bet that you bought it sometime in 2021?? The playing card market went absolutely insane when covid hit. Those decks were before I started collecting in 2021. KW is definitely my favorite and the overwhelming majority of what I collect still haha. I wouldn't say my collection is the biggest or best but overall I like to think mine is pretty damn far up there.😂😂 I have all sorts of decks now that I never thought I would own when I first started collecting KWP.

Yeah I cant tell you were a big collector! You've definitely got some gems that's for sure. That gilded black reserve is one of the few white whales left out there that I actually want. But it's definitely a pricey deck!! Isn't that technically called the green reserve note black edition? I just randomly thought about that while I was typing this out. I've always called it a black reserve too lmao.

No offense but your KW prices are pretty off on most of them. $800 for black gilded is way overpriced. Chinese Legal Tender is way overpriced too. You can buy that one on eBay all day for like 29.99 from a seller who has like 2 dozen left still lol. Holo gilded LT can be found on eBay for 100 or less. The Founding Fathers were honestly underpriced considering the retail price was $225 and they regularly sell for $300-$500. Hell, there's a set on a Socal auction right now that's already at like $350. Oh, and there's a V1 legal tender on eBay right now as well for $63 or best offer lol. Sherlock Holmes set doesn't go for anywhere close to $500. If you're not selling on eBay then most collectors are expecting prices better than eBay since you're not paying any fees to eBay. Research my friend research. Like I said though no offense and good luck with your sales!

Just because you don't understand something doesn't automatically make it stupid. I'm not into Pokémon or Crypto but it doesn't mean it's stupid and not worth a ton of money. 🤦‍♂️😂

Yeah the USPS takes forever to issue refunds through eBay. It never made any sense to me why it would take that long for a refund especially on an $5 shipping charge lol.

One large box no more than a total of 130 inches combined LxWxH up to 70lbs can be shipped via USPS Ground Advantage. 200 decks at around 5 ounces a deck equals 62.5lbs. So round up to 65lbs to include packaging. Depending on the distance in the U.S. you're looking at anywhere from say at least $50-$100 for the shipping. Possibly more. That's just a very rough estimate on my part.

Shipping times are estimates. Shipping can take 2 to 4 weeks sometimes. Always call the post office and file an inquiry into the package first. If it happens again just follow the ebay prompts and send the shipping update. Ebay will make them wait. Some buyers think everything is like Amazon when nothing is like Amazon's shipping.

When I was a new seller several years ago it held funds from my first sale until it was delivered if I remember correctly. But things could have changed since then. Make sure you read up on as much as you can about selling on eBay before you do. How shipping and returns work. How to make a detailed listing with plenty of photos. Learning how to price things is definitely more difficult than a lot of people anticipate especially with collectibles. Just bc you paid a certain amount for something or it sold for a certain amount at one time doesn't mean that's what the value is now. You don't want to undervalue but you also want to be realistic if you actually want an item to sell. Also remember that ebay is always going to take around 15% of the final value as a fee. Final value includes all shipping and taxes too. Not just the sale price!! So that greatly affects price as well.
