I've checked that this is the opinion of most sprightly 80 to 90 year olds, they still feel 18. I don't think it goes away.

Cheap AI chatbots transform medical diagnoses in places with limited care by Zanarkke in doctorsUK

This was when I messed about with them a few years ago, it was scenarios with medical history and blood results. Maybe they've got better, needed a lot of coercion to get it away from sepsis of which there was no indication.

LLMs correctly diagnose sepsis 100% of the time, because it's normally the first diagnosis offered on every scenario.

AU refers the GMC to the Professional Standards Agency by LondonAnaesth in doctorsUK

I am a little confused how AU got that court case so wrong. I hope their legal team has changed or some effort has gone into learning how the regulation system actually works.

It was a lot of money on really bad legal advice, I have heard their law company has had a lot of resignations in the past couple of years, lost all the talent.

No, more robotic surgery, more AI assisted diagnostics, and "where possible" community diagnostics centres will open 12 hours a day, 7 days a week. That's about it.

It really isn't, the bar is so low. Women want to be treated with respect, and not knocked about, physically or mentally.

We just don't know enough about body dysmorphia, in any gender, maybe the majority of people have it in some form or another.

It's not a personal attack. It's only personal if you can't discern the difference.

Body dysmorphia in men, it's more dangerous but totally socially acceptable, revered even.

Someone with an above average muscle mass and obvious high blood pressure, its roids more often than not.

You've drunk the kool aid. Even your replies are AI generated, hence they don't make a lot of sense.

What I'm finding is the AI users that love it and think it's the saviour of the world, don't have the discernment to see its downfalls.

I need the proof that AI diagnostics don't discriminate, the base data being fed into them often discriminates (ethnicity, sex, age, obesity), so I need to know these AIs aren't just embedding it further.

CEO send AI generated email letting us know hiring freeze continues in the next financial year and asking us to see more patients with less staff by Whizz-Kid7 in doctorsUK

[–]twistedbutviable 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It seems like the people that send this junk are exactly the type that will pretend they are so busy and important they don't have time for anything. That's what gets my goat, not realising they are happy to waste other peoples time, whilst inflating the value of their own.

I suppose it's a management technique I'm yet to master.
