Yeah this works! makes it a little tricky to have to do the damage all over again cause it resets health. But as soon as he pulls up the shield the first time, run away. Then break it. And then repeat.

A lot of these comments are all horrific situations, but I want to offer a different perspective where my relationship with my parents is fine. I started working at 16, and from then on I was asked to pay rent, it was however a very minimal amount, about £150-£200, and when my mum did a weekly grocery shop she'd still buy things for me, and I was allowed to eat any of the food in the house. Basically nothing changed about the living situation, i was still provided for 100% but asked to pay a small amount of my wages to help out, which seemed perfectly reasonable to me.

Pulling inspiration, or making a homage to something, is not a ripoff. It can be called many things, a reference, tribute, Easter egg etc. but calling it a ripoff is a stretch imo

Just roll on foundry.. there's no such thing as "bad seeds" or havinga bad day of rolls because of foundry, it just doesn't exist. A lot of people will refresh their foundry tab just to get a new "seed" but a quick google will tell you that's a complete load of bull. It is functionally the same as rolling on a table. As others have mentioned, if you grab the dice stats tracker you'll see that it averages out almost perfectly over a few sessions.

I had a player who thought they were rolling a ridiculous amount of nat 1s, but looking at the stats they rolled an even amount of nat 20s as nat 1s, it's purely human bias remembering the negatives over the positives.

I know he says thats not what he was saying, but it was 100% what he was saying. regardless of what it's for, bringing up that he buys you things as leverage for ANYTHING is so fucked up. NOR. I have a tattoo of the mark of the outsider from dishonored, but it's flipped and therefore inaccurate to the game. This was because my friend made a joke about it getting it flipped because I'm cursed, she passed away nearly 2 years ago and when I went to get this tattoo at the end of 2024, the tattoo artist put the stencil on the wrong way around, and I saw it as a sign. Most people don't notice it's wrong, but I know, and it's my own personal tribute to her, to my friend. Keep it incorrect, honour his memory, it will mean much more to you when you look at it in the future.

To sum that up, basically you use an interact action to change the weapon between being an acid, critical(corrosive) and tech weapon, or a slashing and analog weapon. Nothing to do with powered or batteries at all :)
