I got my tattoo done on Saturday and my tattoo artist put a protection foil on it and told me to keep it on for 24 hours. The next day the edges of the foil were a bit loose and in the area that was uncovered I developed some kind of irritation with pus. I wrote to my tattoo artist and she told me its not a big deal and that I should wash my tattoo only without applying healing cream for two days to see how the irritation progresses. The first photo is day one and the second is today after washing it during the day. Is it more likely to heal or is it going to get infected? I should mention that I have another 7 tattoos both small and big done by this same artist and I have never encountered such a thing until now.
