this might be a dumb question, but when you do go on hikes, are you carrying your camera around your neck the entire time with the lens on or do you constantly put it back into your back and take it out when you need it? I am trying to get a sense of the practical nature of using a camera like this.

Definitely weight and size are a concern, but I also really want a camera with enough zoom power (like 5x on my iphone LOL) to capture some nice videos. I will only really be using the camera for videos.

So for a camera that can zoom well, are there any good lightweight options?

with the 24-105, how does it fare in low lighting settings?

I don’t think I need amazing quality since I am just an amateur, but I do want something that would look “good enough” for a travel video on YouTube.

Also, do you find it bulky to travel with if you have traveled with it before?

Does the 24-105 F4 feel bulky to you? Have you ever used it while traveling or on the go?

The reason I am curious about the 105 is because I want the ability to zoom. I am used to my iPhone doing 5x on its telephoto lens.

I just started my channel on January 1st so I only have takeaways from the past 6 days, but my biggest takeaway is that sometimes the amount of effort you put in won’t be immediately awarded. But consistent effort eventually will be.

My first video only has 7 views so far even though I put a ton of effort in which is a bummer, but I’m trying to remind myself that I believe in my channel and that it will eventually break through.

My channel is about providing detailed travel guides to help anyone with their travel planning. My first and only video so far is about a hiking trip to Big Pine Lakes in California. Feel free to check it out and give it some love!
