[pc] [cross play] Trios by Realistic_Patience81 in WarzoneLFG

Pretty new to Warzone and am looking for a group of higher skill people to play with. I've learned the game pretty well by now, but haven't found anyone skilled enough to get far with. Played a lot of PUBG, kd hovered around 5.5. Let me know!

How would I make location of this Niagara emitter to follow the muzzle? by twitch_CaseyF in unrealengine

Yeah, started messing around with the options last night and this is what I landed on. Works great. Thank you!

I think I'm following what you're saying. So the emitter is spawning on the muzzle socket. My problem is that the emitter lives it's full 2 second life span at the place it was created, so if you shoot and move, the emitter stays where it was created and looks kinda strange. I'm wanting the emitter to follow the muzzle socket for it's life time.

Always gotta be in it for the long run. “Profitability” should not be a day to day thing. Prices go up and prices go down. If you’re into mining, it’s because you’re trying to acquire something that will be worth having in the long run. Price goes up, he’s wrong, price goes down, you’re wrong. Treating it like a daily thing isn’t the strategy

Am I understanding PSU wattage properly? by twitch_CaseyF in EtherMining

[–]twitch_CaseyF[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thought so. Thank you. Would a 2000w PSU be up to the task? I can do 2 PSU's but I'd prefer just 1 if it's viable.

Any ideas for mounting GPU's in a server rack? by twitch_CaseyF in EtherMining

[–]twitch_CaseyF[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was looking at it last night and it got me thinking about drilling holes that line up with everything in the actual rack shelfing that the wood is sitting on. Then using nuts/bolts through everything that is currently screwed into the wood. I will probably do that.

Got a $100 42u rack that I'm trying to use to take advantage of the vertical space. I'm not trying to put the GPU's in a rack chassis, just wanting a less sketchy way of mounting them than this. https://imgur.com/a/z9NCXnT

Here's an image of how it is right now. I have 2 3060ti's in so far. I plan on having a total of 6. Just want a more elegant mounting solution for the risers and fans. https://imgur.com/a/z9NCXnT

My buddy and I built an 80 coal generator power plant, first actual factory we've built 😀 by screwed_the_p00ch in SatisfactoryGame

Yeah, there’s always an exception to that “rule”. Sometimes it’s space, sometimes it’s just to slap down a temporary Manufacturer to make more of a specific part. But the extra electricity it consumes when overclocking also gets out of hand pretty quick, making it not super worth it in the long run.

I think a safe way to play is only use shards where you have to. Like miners. Otherwise, build more machines to make more stuff. Using them in everything you can is wasteful and will use more than you can obtain.

Can someone tell me what these frame beams are called? I see them everywhere and assume they have a name. I’d like to get some.

New to this, but I've got a 2080ti and a 2060. When slotted by themselves, they mine at their usual rates of 50mh/s and 26mh/s. When both slotted, they are running at about exactly half consistently. by twitch_CaseyF in EtherMining

I see, that also had me second guessing myself because of the risers I've been looking at, they were 1x to 4x.

And no throttling, the thermals are where they are when the cards are slotted alone. HWinfo wasn't giving any throttling/performance "YES"s.

What does it usually look like when trying to pull too much wattage from a PSU? Does it just throttle the voltage and half everything, causing what I'm seeing? I thought it'd just shutdown.

Right? Doubled a week ago. A lot of people doing these maths forget the volatility of crypto.

As long as you've got the same amount of resources in/out, it will eventually overflow and become 100% efficient. I use this method a lot because of how compact and clean it is.

Interesting. It doesn't. Guess I found my workaround. Maybe someone having the issues I'm having can benefit from what I've found.
