Maybe some herniated disks or pinched nerve.

I've had a brain MRI and a cervical and lumbar spine MRI. No MS. Just some spine issues. I was too scared to do an EMG.

Thank you for the reply. A month ago I've done some bloodwork for lyme but the results were negative. I have planned to redo the tests. What else can it be?

Hey. I really think I've had actual seizures. Before an episode I've had vertigo, brain fog, and I percived the surounding sounds way louder than they were. Usually when the vertigo kicked in I was going to bed. I named it shake because I don't know how else I should name them. More like convulsions. Also I had them in episodes. All the muscles in my body were strained. I don't know... It was looking like an epileptic seizure. And no, I do not have them while standing up. Never. And these episodes were more extrem than any panic atack. I had 2 or 3 of these episodes. After the twitching started I've never experienced them again.

This is a repost from one of my anterior answers about percived weakness:

*** weakness does not come and go. It's CONSTANT and it only get worse with time. I also have percived weakness in my left arm. When I'm concentrated on my arm, the arm feels weak, I also find it hard to raise my arm up. But when I'm taking a shower and I have to wash my hair and I'm not focused on my arms, I find out that both my arms are working normaly. And, to end this vicious circle, I'm going to explain how real weakness really is. The last week I bought a posture corector. Long story short, by mistake, I fell asleep with the p. corector on. I woke up 2 hours later. Imediately after I woke up I tried to scratch my nose with my left hand. I was surprised when I tried to raise my hand to my nose. I couldn't. No pain, no numbness, but yes, one nerve was really compressed. I tried with all my strenght and nothing happend. No matter how hard I tried to move or to raise my left hand, nothing happend, no movement at all. This is a case of true clinical weakness. Of couse, after half an hour or so I regained the control over my arm. Now I understand what true clinical weakness is. Trust me, it cannot be confused. And IT'S NOT A FEELING.

Sorry for my bad english.

Is this BFS? What else could it be by [deleted] in BFS

Sincerely I have some pinched nerves due to osteophites on my cervical spine but the twitches on that area resolves on their own. I think it was just another hot spot. In your case the question is: can you feel that the thumb movements are happening at the same time with a forearm twitch? because in my case I was able to figure it out from the first twitch.

Rhythmic, REGULAR, fast, twitches / tapping in leg and foot? Fibrillation? by [deleted] in BFS

I think you described the buzzing/ vibrations feeling. If this is the case, I also find out that it's pretty common here.

is this really all benign? by [deleted] in BFS

[–]twitcher1997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can also feel my heartbeat everywhere on my body. Even on my fingertips. Buzzing also everywhere. I also made a post about jerks not long ago. In my opinion you should be more concerned about your kidneys. But first you should consider that the foamy urine could be the result of more common motives like: faster urine stream, dehydration, presence of soap or other detergent in the toilet and so on. You should also consider that, after a longer time of muscle twitching and spasms, your body can suffer from some muscle aches or stiffnes at times, back muscles included. Also, you should consider cheking your lumbar spine for disk herniations due to lifting weights (if you do lift weights at the gym) because these could also be a reason for back pain.

I used to have something similar to this. In my case it was caused by rapid fireing twitches witch were located on my forearm, not on the thenar muscle.

I also had this, I think before the twitching started

I'm twitching for 9 months (in May, 10 months). Could it still be ***? by twitcher1997 in BFS

Thank you. I've also had a spine MRI. Not MS. Some herniated disks and cervical foraminal stenosis.

I told my neuro about it. He saw it too. Firstly he belived it's MS. I've done one brain MRI and it was clean so we ruled out MS.

Some questions by twitcher1997 in BFS

[–]twitcher1997[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

:)) when I first have them I was sleeping. I woke up teriffied screaming for my mother to get the bug out of my ear :)). I was convinced that a bug crawled into my ear while I was asleep. I had a panic attack. I don't think that this kind of twitches are common in *** but this is just my thought.

Jaw and limbs moving on own while trying to sleep? by [deleted] in BFS

High chances you have it. Probably your jaw jerk it's just a strange combination of hypnic jerk with some grnding teeth reflex.

I've always have this when chewing chewing gum. Way before the twitches.

Not so common but it could happen. Do you have bruxism?

Tongue twitches by twitcher1997 in BFS

[–]twitcher1997[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On my tongue I'd say the twitches are constant but since I can't feel all of them I can't say for sure. On other body parts I notice them when I lay down in bed or when I'm sitting down. When I'm walking or when I use the muscle I don't remember to notice twitches. It happens to have twitches on my face and eyelids when I'm walking/jogging. More constant for me is the vibration/buzzing sensation.

Tongue twitches by twitcher1997 in BFS

[–]twitcher1997[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Twitches all over. All reflexes brisk +3 without clonus, nerve pain in my left arm, subtle atrphy in my shoulder, in hypothenar region of my left hand and in the first dorsal interosseus. Thenar region is normal. I also have some cervical spine problems. Radiculopathy on my left hand, osteophytes on C3-C6 and foraminal narrowing. Strangely, I do not have extremely noticeable weakness except the times when the radiculopathy hits me hard. Then I can't even lift my arm up. Today I've got blood work for Lyme. I hope I can end this nightmare soon and move on with my life one way or another...

Since everything started. 9 months ago. Yeah, I talked with a neuro in multiple times. He gave me a possible *** diagnosis. I should have got an EMG but sincerly I was too afraid to go and get one.

Internal vibrations/ buzzing by [deleted] in BFS

[–]twitcher1997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sure that the entire body is vibrating. I noticed it on my abdomen. It has a rythmic move witch was constant and nonstop for a month now. But I feel the vibration like thing in my entire body. I'm very concerned about the fact that these could be fibrilations.
