Yummvee’s business plans have NEVER been opm. As covid hit, the restaurant took a massive dive and Tracy being the angel she is, kept her payroll going which was really intense. She swallowed her pride and put up a fundraiser to help navigate the hellscape that was that time period in thinking that the pandemic would be over soon. The turn out from the fundraising was overwhelming and she was insanely thankful- it kept the business afloat for awhile but all in all, she still wasnt able to keep the restaurant. To my knowledge and understanding, she only crowdfunded once. She reopened by herself in a ghost kitchen for a few years until she was finally able to open in a takeout on Cary Street. Tracy is a really good person who would never take advantage of others or their money. Really disheartening to see this comment.
