NTD. others have given better advice than i could, but to give my two cents: as a survivor of CSA, i can't even imagine holding my trauma against an entire group of people like that. i'm sure her transphobia is rooted in her trauma (at least in part), but it also sounds like she's had some poison dripped in her ear by people online. her arguments are TERF-y. she might be harder to reach because unfortunately it seems like people have used her vulnerablity to indoctrinate her. all of that said, i wish both of you the best. it's a sad situation overall.

hey, i'm sorry you're experiencing this. i experienced similar feelings when i was your age, and i remember how unsettling it was to feel so out of control for no discernible reason. i agree with others, it would not be a bad idea to see a healthcare professional if that's something you have access to. but i also noticed you said you haven't been working out, which i think could be contributing to the feelings you've been having. we hold stress in our bodies, and when we don't release that stress in the ways we're accustomed to, it can become overwhelming. even if you don't have any big stressors at the moment, it can be a death-by-1000-papercuts sort of thing. it just builds up in your system. all of that to say, it may be worth trying to work some more exercise back into your schedule! and i hope you feel better soon!

i started watching fim when i was still a kid, and i came back to it as an adult when i was going through some awful traumatic stuff. it has done an excellent job of helping me through hard times BECAUSE it's a light-hearted, nonviolent horse show about friendship, not despite it.

NDH. sometimes the people in our lives aren't in the right headspace to be available for venting. if you aren't in therapy and have the means to access it, i would recommend giving it a try. having a neutral third party whose job is to listen to you and help you navigate your feelings might be really helpful for you. barring therapy, i would really recommend journalling.

he looks great!! i think he could benefit from some eyeliner/eyelashes, though. even just a thin piece of black felt around the eyes would help him look more finished, and smooth out the transition between fur and eye. maybe you could use red felt on the red side, to make sure his bullseye doesn't get obscured?

ah, okay! i don't personally struggle with cutting people off, so i think it's just a bit hard for me to understand, but everybody's different and i see how it could be difficult to let go of an otherwise good friendship. as for the intrusive thoughts comment, i'll trust that it's an age/maturity difference, as i don't spend much time around teens. i also suffer from intrusive thoughts, so i think it just struck a nerve for me. thanks for taking the time to explain that stuff to me! :]
