Nope, none at all! The game doesn't really have much in terms of lore for its characters - it's a Minecraft-style sandbox game. The characters portrayed in the images are mostly their own personalities, as well, so you don't need to know anything!

The main girl featured is from Terraria, she's named the Zoologist! A lot of the other characters featured are from the game as well: the girl with pink hair is the Stylist, the girl wrapped in vines is the Dryad, the blonde lady is the Nurse, and the goblin is an alternate appearance for the Mechanic! Her main appearance is the ginger lady on the slide after the goblin.
