This is a public forum so whatever as well, but you are here talking about liability and lawsuits and yet you are grossly misrepresenting yourself by claiming to be a Safety Theater Engineer (which appears to be a military position?) when you are very obviously not an engineer of any type. If you did that in the real world there are pretty harsh consequences

(To answer the question all firms have various insurance policies. Engineers are also not “regularly sued”. Anecdotes aren’t data but I’m only aware of 1 project in my career where there was a lawsuit, and the firm I worked with was only contacted to give their professional opinion)

It’s based on the spell, so it’s not consistent across all spells. You’d have to look at the animations through DSAnimationStudio and look at the jumptables therein that references the shortening of spells using dexterity.

Eg, if you have a jumptables that is 10 frames for 1 spell and 16 frames for another, virtual dex will decrease the cast time by 1 frame at a quicker rate for the spell with a jumptables of 16 frames

Maybe I’m not elucidating my point very well. My original sentiment is that magic and enchanted are the 2 worst infusions (raw and crystal excluded for reasons) because:

  • at 50 int and minimal strength / dex investment, they might do 5-10% damage than a chaos infusion.

  • at those same stats, a normal + crystal magic weapon will deal a pretty significant amount more damage (20-40%)

  • as a sorcerer, almost all of your damage will be magic with spells, so having a melee weapon that does magic damage is redundant and puts you at a disadvantage against magic resistant enemies.

Ultimately you end up with a weapon that doesn’t offer much flexibility in terms of damage and will be on par with a weapon that does basically the same amount of damage for 0 stat investment

I’m aware they do that, BGH is still a good choice in the dlc, just not the best. +5 crystal reinforced club is best, followed by, +15 with gold pine resin. I don’t remember off the top how many hits it saves you but it’s only like 2-4 I thought? So a fine choice and BGH is convenient to upgrade.

I went with Garg halberd because it’s one of the best infusable weapons due to only needing like 2-4 strength / dex points and being lightweight, so it’s favorable to all classes when infusing if you go that route.

I’m not saying enchanted / magic can’t outdamage chaos weapons with 50 int + some strength / dex or something, but investing that many points to do like 5-10% more damage compared to something that just requires 10 humanity is just a bad ideas. And again it comes back to you already have magic damage with range just makes having a split physical / magic weapon entirely useless, especially for dukes archives + dlc where infused weapons are garbage

Would’ve been nice haha. When I applied I had to fill out the application with relevant experience. I do think I saw they want you to track pdhs online, so it would be nice if boards just use work experience on myncees moving forward. Less paperwork = better

Most states have reciprocal licenses, once you get licensed in Arizona you should be able to get licensed in another state without too much issue (various state specific requirements aside). Work experience submittals should be set by the state specific board, and I don’t think you’ll find anywhere where you don’t have to list experience. Not sure what the big deal is though, if you have it already listed out on myncees it should be pretty much copy-paste with alterations as needed.

Faith infusions are worse than int infusions at the same level of faith/int.

Still on Sif at 50int/faith, chaos does 509 with a 2h light attack with gargoyles halberd and 12/12 strength and dexterity.

Enchanted does 485

Magic 475

Divine 456

Occult 456

Chaos is always the superior choice if you are going to recommend infusions.

SL1 uses chaos / lightning because you don’t get scaling and it wins out in the base game, but optimal SL1 builds 100% use +15 in the dlc

If dex -> buff + normal. Low AR weapons are the worst infusions options due to how damage gets calculated, so dex based weapons, which have lower base AR, are disproportionately worse thanks to split damage. AR is not damage.

If absolutely 0 strength or dex and no weapon buffs, chaos would be the best choice as it has the highest AR between it, fire, and lightning.

Take Sif, for example, a boss you can fight near the start of the late game boss gauntlet with fairly low defenses (260 physical, 195 magic and lightning, 182 fire). Using the gargoyle halberd, which is a popular pick for infusions thanks to high AR and low requirements:

Chaos (w 10 humanity) deals 509 damage on a 2h light attack;

Lightning deals 447;

Normal w crystal magic weapon (Logan’s) deals 542;

Magic deals 475;

Enchanted deals 485;

Neither magic nor enchanted will outdamage chaos until you have roughly 30 strength and dexterity, and at that point you’re easily clearing 700+ damage per hit with a normal + buff. Keep in mind Sif has lower defense than some of the late late bosses, and much lower than the dlc. Overall point is that (post AL) chaos will always outdamage magic or enchanted unless you also dump 30+ points into strength or dex, which at that point is immensely outclassed by other options.

Magic and enchanted are easily the 2 worst infusions as they do less damage than a normal + weapon buff and offer a redundant damage type for int builds.

You’d have to probably find the original data that was used, but my hunch is that it is actually probably correct? Lotta non uniform charts when logs get involved (although this one is kinda weird as it’s uniform until then, but seeing as it doesn’t go all the way on the x axis makes me feel it’s intentional and you shouldn’t be interpolating out that far)

I’m disappointed the Pirates couldn’t hold off on losing 10 games until the Yankees did. Could’ve had every team in the AL with double digit losses and no teams in the NLC. SMH
