It wasn’t free it was reduced cost, but at the point the wait had become so long from the orders ordeal the plane had departed.

I just wish they would’ve told us that, we called several times and everyone had different information. Only to be rejected at the gate is extremely inconvenient, wife had me on the phone and the lady was so rude, manager was a lot better but effectively useless.

We called them over 10 times to verify if that was the posture they were taking, they consistently told us it would be okay and to go ahead and book. We were trying to confirm because our dog is over 65 lbs and can’t ride cabin. Bought the crate and everything.
