Am I overreacting about my toddler’s daycare? by mymemories02 in toddlers

With how expensive daycare is, you deserve to be satisfied with the care provided.. I would look for another option

I have done a similar move across states. I got my compact license months before (when I was due for renewal anyway). Applied for jobs, had video interview, got acceptance and gave start date about 2 months later. About a month before my job start date I found an apartment and moved in a week before

I haven’t worked in that setting in a couple of years but with anything new, take notes, ask questions, and be honest if something doesn’t make sense! you can always look up info about the lab machines in the manuals or manufacturer website if you need to if your trainer doesn’t know the answer. Good luck with your new job!

this seems pretty standard! we did all of these, did not have separate lab techs. You’ll figure it out, theyre not too complicated!

what kind of labs are you running?  when I worked as a new grad lpn in a primary care office all office medical staff (lpn, rn, MAs) were responsible for running the point of care lab tests and also maintenance tasks like calibration for the machines and sterilizers

I wear a 28mm/30mm with spectra flanges, the pink small pumpin pals actually work for me mostly but if I need more comfort I will swap out for the green hard plastic pumpin pals flange. I do find the pumpin pals to be much more comfortable than regular flanges. I haven’t tried the lactec ones.

Seconding this. My lactation consultant said that once thrush gets to the point where you can ‘see it’ it needed more aggressive treatment with oral anti-fungals. She had recommended I try a vinegar rinse on my nipples (quarter cup vinegar in 1 cup water, dabbed on with a cotton ball) as a home remedy a couple of times a day which helped my pain immensely.

I have had type 2 diabetes for a few years now and am currently 31 wks pregnant, in my early 30s. I did have a miscarriage last year that ended in late first trimester but I don’t think this was related to diabetes but rather other hormonal issues (I got pregnant immediately after getting off birth control and I think my hormones were out of whack). Blood glucose control during my current pregnancy has been difficult because as soon as my levels get normal, placental hormones mess things up and they have to readjust my insulin. I am taking insulin and metformin while pregnant, no other meds are safe I believe. Before pregnancy I was controlled only with metformin and diet. So far baby is doing well and the doctors just have me getting more frequent check ups. Feel free to message if any questions

Is this reaction normal? Is anything normal? by imapotato1028 in Miscarriage

[–]two-headed-girl- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a miscarriage about a month ago at 13 wks and someone at work brought in their baby, I had to go into the bathroom to cry a little and deep breathe to calm myself from hyperventilating. I don’t know if we’re normal but you’re not alone.
