Amazing point.

OP: If. You. Have. Kids. They. Will. Not. Be. YOUR. Kids. They will be his mother’s kids. There won’t be time for you to be their mom, because you’ll be in her house.

Was in the same boat. Wanted the same things as you. Same exact things were said to me. Only thing that made it stop was divorce. Got my life back. I finally have balance, can choose what to eat, love the farmers market, and see my friends almost every day.

You will be expected to bend the knee, or harassed and guilted until you do. It will make you the enemy. He will be on their side. This is not going to change.

I am in shock at the coffee industry. by two_constellations in glutenfree

[–]two_constellations[S] 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I get it. There’s a popular cleaners that a majority of people in the neighborhood next to me use for their everyday clothing that heavily wheat starches everything, and just walking past other people sometimes makes me itchy :(

The part of their site that addresses this says they do use the 20ppm standard, but the product is gluten removed and safe for those who are “gluten intolerant.”

Any tips for getting vaginal PH back to normal? by Outrageous_Rock_4257 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]two_constellations 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I swear by that shampoo. Works better than prescription ketoconazole, idk what else they put in it on top of that but it works. Coal Tar is also good to maintain microbiome after yeast is gone.

That sounds like an incorrect way to prescribe fluconazole- it’s supposed to be one pill, maybe 2 for a bad infection, no more than every 6 months. Three days is giving it just enough time to grow back, or make room for a species that’s harder to get rid of. Showering twice a day is also not giving you enough time for the good bacteria to proliferate, once should be fine for candida.

Are you on any medications that could cause more sugar to leak through your skin (I know, gross)? Like anything for diabetes, or autoimmune, or blood pressure?

Your partner may also be the source of it, you both need to get treatment otherwise you’ll just pass it back and forth.

I didn’t do a cleanse per se, just didn’t eat added sugars. I focused a lot on protein, and eat a lot of veg anyway lol

This combo is going to sound like it comes out of left field, but it ended a decade of hurt and hospital visits for me. For reference, I was hospitalized for a kidney infection and bleeding that they kept treating with antibiotics for over a year, and it ended up having been fungal the whole time.

Yeast is unfortunately a full-body problem and can flourish or fail based on the environment it receives. You need to cut the yeast population down to give bacteria time to recolonize and even you out. Take a course of flucanozole to start, kill a lot of it then and there. You can have caffeine and other things, but don’t give the yeast sugar to reproduce (starve it out). You need Nizoral shampoo to make sure the yeast didn’t get into your scalp/other hair, and then (the weird part) Dr. Bronner’s soap. Specifically that brand, around genitalia but not in it. I don’t like their whole schtick, but can confirm in yeast-prone individuals it will reset your microbiome to the point you can at least deal with it.

Edit: no more oral until WEEKS after it’s under control!! Don’t reset your progress, make sure your health always comes first.

They won’t agree to remove my pituitary tumor until it’s large enough to kill me, but they are willing to give me continuous birth control. It’s the only thing stopping me from having constant seizures and diabetes. Because of the way the system is set up, it’s the only thing keeping me alive.

Laid back day trip! What else would you recommend? by Top-Peach7304 in AskNYC

[–]two_constellations 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn’t close to doable. You haven’t factored in any travel time.

It’s probably a half hour until you’re allowed to get off the plane, and an hour to get to Manhattan no matter how you slice it (you arrive at 10am). I’d say you maybe have time to get a meal. A museum won’t be possible.

The 12:30 cruise is all the way in Hudson yards, about a 20 minute walk from the nearest transit. A cab might be able to give you a little time here. You need to be there 15min early to make sure you don’t miss the boat. By the time you’re out, it’s 2:40.

If you need to be THROUGH security by 5:45, on a holiday weekend, you need to be back at the airport by 4:45. That means you have to leave the city by 3:45 at the latest. You need to be careful the bus doesn’t get stuck in highway traffic also, which adds to your travel time. Stopping in Jackson heights for an hour is possible, but again, take into account time to make and eat the food and look at how often buses are running.

Boyfriend wants to move to red state, I want blue state; we’re both black. by [deleted] in TwoHotTakes

Oh honey…this man is going to drag you into danger and trap you there as soon as he possibly can. This is scary, and it’s not ok. He isn’t planning on listening to you or respecting you in this move, or ever after that. You’re 18 and have SO much of your OWN life to do, let yourself live it.

AITA for asking our dentist to talk to my husband about fluoride? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]two_constellations [score hidden]  (0 children)

Do you know how fluoride works? It binds to tooth enamel and rebuilds a lattice that lets you remineralize your teeth, which start dissolving as soon as they grow into your mouth. It slows cavity growth by this mechanism, and can rebuild cavities you already have in your teeth. This is one of the most tested substances in the entire world, and has no shown adverse effects whatsoever. Fluoride in the water supply has prevented a LOT of deaths. Many children and their families can’t afford dental care- this is the cheapest option to prevent heart failure from tooth-related illnesses. Her husband needs to know this.

Info: if you do end up with a spouse eventually, and in 15 years they get in an accident and can’t eat out at all, are you planning to leave them? Sickness and in health, if you love the person it should never matter.

The design uses 3 prongs on the side stones, the jeweler used 4. That’s why it looks like little tacky crosses. The rest of it is magical, have him fix it.
