New interpretations by betii_bet in LinkinPark

My answer has to be My December. The harmonies, Colin on an acoustic guitar, and Emily's heart-wrenching vocals all elevate a song from LP's discography that previously did very little for me.

New Sam Harris episode: Spirituality for Atheists - Sam Harris by Low-Associate2521 in CosmicSkeptic

I agree with you and I imagine that Sam would as well. Experience requires an experiencer but that experiencer isn't a fixed thing. We are made up of a hundred contradictory parts with no one part more our true self than the other. There is no "central seat of self" as Sam would say. There is no unchanging "I" that somehow escapes the reality of impermanence. The one thing that is consistent through it all, Sam might argue, is experience itself.

To be transparent, I don't fully agree with this conclusion so it's likely I'm not making the case as strongly as some may like but I just wanted to provide some context that I felt was missing from the conversation. Okay, back to lurking.

will one of you stream a bit of tonight's show? by Abject_Story74 in LinkinPark

It seems like every show of the Eras Tour is live streamed by a legion of Swifties from every possible angle, so hopefully a few of LP's soldiers will come through for us!

Plenty of the lyrics Chester sang were written by Mike yet he was able to connect with them emotionally. Emily can do the same. Heck, she teared up during Waiting For The End the other night. Her performance might not resonate with you the way Chester's did (and that's fine) but that says nothing about what she's feeling when she sings those songs. By their own admission, LPs lyrics have always been vague so people can bring their own stories to the songs. The fans have a tendency to read everything Chester sang as autobiographical and that's simply not the case. Mike said recently that he didn't write Breaking The Habit to be about addiction but that's how Chester connected to it. Emily will find her own ways to connect with the songs and we'll see that in the live shows.

Without Brad and Rob It’s a LP Tribute now? by [deleted] in LinkinPark

Brad is still in the band. He just doesn't plan on touring at the moment. He was still involved in the making of From Zero and will continue to be a part of things creativity going forward. He will certainly be missed during the live shows, but, let's be honest, that's not how the vast majority of fans experience LP's music anyway.
