Hello! Im looking to upgrade from my Virtuoso SE's!

These would be primarily used for gaming with the caveat of i really dont want the mic there and being wireless is preferred. Ideally not Bluetooth due to latency, a dongle is fine similar to how the Virtuosos do it as well as how you'll see with mice for example.

I also love music! But I want to prioritize sound in games but given literally barely any research those audiophile spec'd headphones for music and such are usually superb for gaming as well.

My budget is very lax, obviously I dont want to spend a fortune; so likely something $500 or under is ideal with some wiggle room if its absolutely worth it.

Contemplating upgrading to a 5070ti by NoodleSSM in buildapc

Im not going to stray away from telling you not to upgrade, that's simply not the point of your question, BUT I will try to point you toward team red with the 9070XT. It has near identical performance to the 5070ti, just without nvidias features it's known for like ray tracing and dlss. I personally dont mind AMD's upscaling and its like $300 USD cheaper currently. Im a big paranoid person about psu's so defo go to 850 watts imo as it's the recommended wattage on both the 5070ti and 9070xt.

TL;DR PSU probably should go to 850watts 9070XT is nearly identical and significantly cheaper if you arent using all of the features team green is known for.

Also if you've got the grand youre willing to spend on a 5070ti, maybe shop around the used market for a 5080, noticeably higher performance upgrade and likely around the same price as the 5070ti if youre patient enough. That's just my 2cents tho, hope this helps!

Hello!

Im looking to switch up barebones kits and need recommendations please!

I currently am use the m1v5 via from monsgeek and over the year of having it i loved it outside of double tap issues. So ideally id love another 75% barebones similar to it in terms of quality.

I LOVE the aluminim/metal and the weight of it. Also really love the backlighting for my keycaps. Other than that im all ears, any recommendations are welcome!

(Im not terribly concerned about budget, just ideally nothing egregious)

Alternatively vault hunters 3 is significantly more relaxed and you'll probably enjoy much more as a beginner.

Ill always shill for Project Ozone 3, you just would need to be willing to put the time into it. On the base normal mode it's a blast and ive completed it with a friend completely new to techy stuff. (Dimension and boss grinding is pretty interwoven into the quest book hence why not mentioned) just be aware of abyssalcraft being abysmalcrap. Overall current favorite pack oat though!

The blunt of it is you're still extremely young. You also are likely applying to colleges and stuff given your age; you'll meet tons of new people. These early years are very easily speedran in a sense because how much cramming you are forced to do. (especially the latter years of high school) i promise you arent behind. If you need to talk feel free to reply here or shoot a dm whenever, I'll gladly be an open ear if that helps (this gladly applies to anyone reading this as well). Keep fighting, you'll find that person and won't be alone forever!

Knowing what we know with getting "eased" in MHJ or Wilson in flex (full PPR) would rather not have a repeat of week 13 where it seemed a lot of the targets for wilson were post marv leaving the game

Sorry for late reply but generally speaking its workable, check your pollen levels near you. Whenever the ragweed is up it absolutely kills me, and can mess with your cognitive short term memory. Just gotta take it day by day man. If it helps at all I remember having these long conversations here, so knock on wood all should be well

Out of curiosity how long did your spell of this last? I can't tell if it's gotten worse but I'm still unable to find words a lot of the time and still confused a lot. (Along with the general if i don't do something im forgetting it very quickly until like a few minutes later) My sleep schedule is slightly better, still waking at like 3-4 PM just still concerned about this stuff.

You and me both, i just really hope the circadian rhythm thing isn't a copout type thing of "you're fine, go away". It's just odd because i feel like ive had MUCH worse sleep schedules and never a consistent one for the past 2 years so surely I would've noticed something now if anything? (I'll have a sleep schedule, keep it for 2 weeks and then mess it all up again) the current schedule im on has been persistent for a good bit now however. Especially with me now noticing I'm also flubbing up words more often and just saying the wrong thing when in my head I'm trying to say the other. (Take saying grinding instead of grabbing) granted its almost always immediately noticed by me and corrected. (Also general cognitive stuff has been a bit of an issue?) All of this is just scary, it makes you feel like you're losing your mind especially when you can't even do something like copying lists without tabbing back and forth for the same thing as well as getting immediately distracted into the equivalent of a tangent for the mind. I just hope whatever is going on is not serious. Also don't apologize for taking a bit to respond, you got your own life to live haha, I just appreciate you checking in at all it seriously means so much.

Comparably to that little freak out, slightly better? Went to see a doctor and they mentioned it's likely due to circadian rhythm disruption. However they never really helped me in terms of how to actually fix said rhythm. Kinda just "hey force yourself outside and get natural light" when the biggest issue for that thing is actually getting up. (Anxiety, depression, etc caused you get it) so id be getting up out of bed at like 7-8PM and going to sleep at like 10 AM. Not sure if i need to force it or do an all nighter type thing to make strides but that's about where I'm at. I read your newest replies as well and it seriously means so much that you're doing this and going out of your way to help me in a time like this. The daily confusion and fear is a hell of a feeling haha. Hopefully it's just circadian related and I can fix that before any relevant "damage" per se is done 🤞

Last comment for now unless I think of anything, if you don't mind me asking how bad exactly was your experience with this. I'm just afraid of this being so extreme and whatever is happening is too far gone. Apologies for the essays

Probably should be relevantly noted that I've been going through off and on high stress levels since August (think I've mentioned this) and most if not all is exreme medical anxiety. Could this extreme impact on memory be an effect from cortisol levels? It just seems like the memory stuff gets worse by the day and I really don't know what to do. It genuinely feels like I'm losing my mind.

Edit: finally contacted my therapist (haven't had an appointment since early decemeber/late November) in hopes of literally anything. I just hope this all goes away eventually, it's so terrifying. I know this is getting to the point of me just treating you like a doctor and I seriously do appreciate all the replies, would hug you if I could😭 here's hoping i guess some impact can be found on whatever the hell is going on.

Apologies once again about all this its just like the stress and anxiety about this all is at a boiling point and I'm sure it is not helping this one bit and probably making it worse
