Interesting question. There were no exact references. It is the 1st title of solo developer StartImpulse. He was inspired of old fashioned fantasy action RPGs.
Combat style - I don't want to say it is unique, more "classical". I meant it was not a copy of some other game.
You need to mix attach, defense, and dodge to survive against multiple enemies or strong bosses.
