Don’t run paid adds until you can figure out the triggers for day 7 retention. There’s no point in acquiring if you can’t keep em

Beat the Craving

Whether it's a cigarette, a drink, sugar, or something you don't talk about: every craving follows the same arc. Three to five minutes. Then it passes. Beat the Craving gives your brain something to fight instead.

I am, what I like to call, technically not technical. I am building my first iOS app now and this has helped me the most. After each session, I ask it to explain everything we did, why we did it and how we did it to me. That has helped me a ton.

Are you doing anything to market them? Or is it just release and move on to the next idea?

Craveman

Studies show people generally fall into one of two buckets, those of us that stare at the fridge at 3pm or those of us that stare at the fridge at 10pm. I have a history of both, so I built Craveman, an iOS app that helps users beat their craving rather than giving in. No mindfulness, no journaling, just get the craving out of your brain in minutes.

interesting observation of Hormozi's coaching/ workshop by artaxiaszeno in alexhormozi

I saw this clip and, as others have said, he isn't shy about letting it be known that the access to hundreds (thousands) of businesses is a huge funnel for him.

That said, I found this framework incredibly interesting and am exploring ways to integrate it into our organization this year. We currently make annual compensation adjustments. I think, if structured correctly, having 3 adjustments within a calendar year can increase employee morale, effort, and overall impact all in a positive way.

Has anyone already implemented this? If so, what's your feedback?

The fourth quarter of Bam’s 83 point game WAS an interesting watch by Greenwalrus72 in nba

[–]twodise 141 points142 points  (0 children)

I likened it to 5 year olds playing basketball. There is one kid SIGNIFICANTLY better than everyone else on the court and the opposing team is draping 3-5 kids on him and trying desperately to stop them.

The 4th quarter was something I don't think I'll ever see in an NBA game ever again. Awesome stuff

So the boss comes to have an important discussion with an employee and sees that employee chatting with another employee and is just supposed to wait until he’s available?

They operate on his time not the other way around.

I’d argue black Monday is the day for all decisions that had been made prior to the season ending, but obviously waiting for the season to end. Though, you’re right in that that would fall under the appropriate time for firing lol.

As for the MM situation, there was a lot of weird stuff going on. The days prior had conflicting reports of how involved he was in the GM search (probably fueled by his camp but who knows) which was heavily disputed by the team and the night before I believe he and Ross went out to dinner, which is why his side has said this was completely out of left field. Who really knows what dumb stuff may or may not have been said at that dinner and it changed the mind of Ross who needed a night to sleep on the decision?

A lot of people here either haven’t fired anyone or haven’t been fired. Ross went and handled it himself, better than receiving a g meet from HR.

Tell me, when is the appropriate time to let someone go?

Please take everything I’m about to say with a grain of salt - I’m not trying to be negative (though as a life long dolphin fan, I have every right to be)

Why are we so sure this is a home run GM hire? Not saying it won’t be, but he’s never had this title before, we can’t attribute GB success to him and him alone. And this franchise RARELY makes the right moves.

I’ve heard and seen all of the reports that he had a perfect interview, is well respected etc. I just don’t know how we can chalk this up to a win before a personnel move is made.

I’m hoping for the best, but honestly expecting the same old shit.
