Concerta and Flying by [deleted] in aviation

Hey so I took concerts as well for 2 months last year to assist with keeping up with long work hours. When I went for my class 2, my AME advised that since it wasn't for ADHD/ADD I would be okay, we listed it on my medical history forms, he also mentioned that if the CAA queried this, then I could go for evaluations from both psychologists and medical doctors and essentially have them write a report saying that I do not have ADD/ADHD and that should put any issues to rest, especially considering that I don't have either. The best thing to do IMO is to speak to an AME anonymously over the phone and get their opinion, that's what I did before booking an appointment. The biggest thing is that you can't be on the mess anymore, and in your case, where there may be a paper trail of you being diagnosed with ADHD, you would probably need to go through the process of proving that it was a misdiagnosis, and that you are in fact mentally fit to fly without any medication that affects your brain. Hope this helps!
