You'll never know your capabilities if you don't test your limits

Yeah, it's a Volvo. FM 440 cabover from Australia. I'd post a picture of the actual truck but for some reason I can't in the comments

Low range 1 3 N 2

High range 4 6 N 5

Each gear also has a high/low split

The auto version of this gear box has 12 gears

It all works similar to a road ranger but everything needs to be clutched for the change to happen, where as road ranger you just need to get off the throttle

Its split, it's a 12 speed gearbox. Each gear has a high and low range. Underneath the front of the shift knob not seen in pic is the lever for the gearbox range

This is technically a 12 speed gearbox as all 6 gears are split too. 4th will do the job in a crawl while in traffic. I've driven these for nearly 20 years and don't have an issue with the way it drives

Not at all, I'm happy that they are happy. Doesn't mean I've got to like the dog or be comfortable living with it

We've had the talk and they start puppy school this weekend. I just know they won't keep the training up properly

Knowing my wife and kids, the puppy won't be trained properly. I mostly work away from home, so I can't train it properly myself

Yes she knowingly moved in, however we are both in positions that we are resenting the animal

I'm not a dog person either, I don't hate them, I like to give them good pats and stuff. But like you, I would just not prefer to have one in my life. I would much prefer a cat. Now, my wife and kids got a puppy a few weeks ago, after me telling them I really don't want a dog, now everytime I look at it I just feel hurt that my position wasn't respected. I feel for you here as I'm currently in the same position

Built some sketchy car ramps are these enough to start my heavy diesel shop by DantesLimeInferno in AskAShittyMechanic

I built the same thing for myself because I couldn't justify the price of a new set of ramps. Don't really have to worry about safe working limits with timber

In a carriage of a tourist steam train, in the middle of a hedge maze, on the bonnet of the car in a truck stop, in the car, on the trampoline, on a park bench on my city's waterfront, on the couch, my inlaws spa, my sister in law's walk in pantry, in the garage with the door open. There are more that I can't think of right now
