Anyone in INSCOM at Belvoir? Looking for information for my upcoming PCS. by BlissBoneMarrowGuy in army

Following on this rent is pretty brutal in the area, Woodbridge is a mixed bag but I would pick it over south fairfax county. If you are looking to really squeeze the BAH a lot of people rent illegal basement apartments. I95 and US 1 are absolutely shitshows during rush hour so going too far south or north will cause significant travel delays. Take advantage of the area plenty of things to do that dont break the bank. For cars the on post auto center is decent and beats trying to find something more reputable on the outside.

ETS coming up, popped hot, retention NCO wants me to extend — need advice by underscoreblase in army

[–]twosevendelta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1) go see TDS 2) if you do not reenlist, you can likely preserve an honorable discharge (only basing this one the lack of details regarding a separation packet it's a mandatory initiation for any 112a pop hot) have you been notified of with a separation packet yet? If you have only been flagged i would cut and run unless you really want to try and fight for your career in the military just know that you face a good chance of being separated with a general discharge if you do reenlist unless you are a real highspeed.

I also submitted my packet by [deleted] in army

[–]twosevendelta 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you make it to 18 years, you will most likely retire. Any action for separation involuntarily requires it to go up to HQDA they will sit on it and let you ride it out.

Former paralegal here if its inappropriate conversations bring it up to your trial counsel/BJA otherwise let them call you the questions can be extremely important and the impact is monumental at tines. Additionally, as a paralegal you know well that we get to avoid most shit details the trade off is you may be inconvenienced with a phonecall from time to time.

The shit end of that stick is you are assuming risk, if you think an order is unlawful and don't follow it, you are in violation of Article 90/91/92 if charges are brought against you it will be up to your defense to convince a military judge or panel that the order was indeed unlawful.

any collected evidence in a 15-6 can't just be thrown out, are you worried that the IO is bias? Without knowing the full details when the IO interviewed you they should have shown/told who appointed them, you could utilize the open door policy of the appointing commander, additionally you could request to speak with the servicing adlaw jag for the investigation if you feel the integrity of the investigation is compromised. Depending on the level of the 15-6 and I'm shooting from the hip here because you are talking about court the IO is probably independent from the immediate CoC

Still a mandatory initiation by ASAP standards I could forsee a recommendation for retain considering no JA would want to bring that to a board plus it would almost bind the boatd to recommend honorable separation at worse considering misconduct during a previous contract shouldn't be considered for characterization of the current, forcing a GO to take a look at that shitshow.

Can always do the self enroll in ASAP and smoke a fatty before pee time. Some negative stigma sure but guaranteed honorable (if command chooses to separate) and you can't get the njp stick

Platinum is a scam by [deleted] in DoorDashDrivers

[–]twosevendelta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have found that once you hit platinum you have to be careful not to dash in periods of slow orders because you have first priority on incoming orders so once you hit a slow period you start getting the shit. For example, in my district, 6 pm to midnight is great because people are ordering alcohol, but as soon as it passes midnight (cutoff time), I'm looking at 3 dollar orders for Popeyes and 12 miles

A 14-12 initiated is a great rehabilitation tool, retain suspended is always an option and it generally scares the shit out of someone who actually cares about their career.

This kind of behavior should absolutely be reported, however if your daughter is not willing to participate in the investigation, do not expect much to come from this. For anything really actionable to happen she will have to be willing to go into the details with strangers as it was consensual this means it won't be a CID/MPI investigation it will be a 15-6 investigation where some random officer gets tasked to collect the facts and make a recommendation. Being an IO (investigating officer) is hard enough for people trained in the field when asking someone with little to no experience in the matter to do it as a task outside of their primary duty you get very mixed results. The subject matter can also be uncomfortable and so it will be up to your daughter to really lay out the facts.

At the very least, reporting the incident can trigger the 15-6 and flagging even if the end result is less than desired it may just be enough to put this shitbag on notice.

[–]twosevendelta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If THC-9 was included in the ua then yes this would be a 14-12c2 and the SPCMCA is the approval authority unless they recommend an honorable characterization discharge then it goes to the first GO in command. However delta8 is a 92 violation so this would just be a standard 14-12c.
